" You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own. "

- Michelle Obama

(Eight Months Ago: Rouen, France)

It was a sunny late afternoon when Amnon-Selah busily spent scribbling down a piece of paper with his pencil. He was concentrating and composing a draft which he had thought, several days ago. Just then, his mother entered his room and stood beside him. Elder Carol Danvers had a peek at what he was writing about. Amnon was surprised to see her coming.

" Mom, what are you doing here? " he asked and smiled. " Aren't you supposed to read that after I finish writing? "

" I'm just curious what you have been doing this afternoon, " she replied. " Mr. Greene is asking me about your improvement. "

" Well,he is supposed to see what I have been doing. Besides, he's our fellow homebuddy. "

" You mean resident? "

" Yeah, something like that. I hope he would like to talk to me about the things I have been doing, " he replied. " Like I'm writing right now. "

" Mind if I hear or read what the SCP-682 clone has written on a piece of paper? " Carol gave her son a suggestive look.

Amnon was blushing and feeling embarrassed as his mother secretly read his mind. The elderly half-Kree woman intently looked and grinned at him. She was waiting for her son to read as he sighed.

" Fine, mom...." he paused. " But I know you will laugh at me. "

" Laugh at you? " she raised her voice and loudly laughed. " Kid, it's been almost two years now that I have been teaching you! I don't even ridicule your works! I found it very interesting to read. If you were a human, you could have been an author or a news journalist when I was younger. Come on, don't be shy! I just want to hear what you have written there. "

" Okay, here it goes..." Amnon took his deep breath and held his paperwork. Carol was ready to listen to what he would read.

" Dear Methu-Selah,

I have heard a lot about you from my friends ever since I travelled with them. I know you're the most powerful person from the Kree race. I was wondering what you really are capable of.

At first, I had no idea that space aliens existed in the universe. All I know is being contained and experimented by the MTF. Those people never gave me the whole gist about this planet and the cosmos. I felt so ignorant of my existence. Until, someone made me realize the world is a dark place to live. That person helped me to escape after the earthquake happened in that facility. My long-term journey had begun thanks to her.

I met a lot of friends and significant ones in my trips, even I was being chased by the MTF troopers until the Kree-Lizard invasion happened. Skoúro was indeed right, the world was enveloped with darkness. Despite those dangers, I never gave up finding myself within the Rebel Forces for several years. I fought for freedom and peace.

Somehow, I found temporary freedom, hope, joy, and love from them in the age of darkness. There were horrible deaths and sorrows I have seen outside the MTF facility, but I have been tormented by that dreaded SCP-682. Those memories and nightmares from him couldn't set me free. I am so drained and overwhelmed of seeing those horrid things all over again.
