Chapter 4

Next day all of them met. Faisjeet were yet to come though, Fais got a call so stopped outside while Jai had gone to work so was coming from there directly. Sidneet felt a bit nervous for some unknown reason. 

Sid: Maa, bhabhi, dada, yeh hai Avneet. { Maa, bhabhi, dada, she is Avneet.}

Avu: Namaste mu... aunty, hello di, hello bhai. 

She smiled at them. 

Vibha: Namaste beta. 

Jaan: Hello Avu. 

Abhi: Hello Avneetay. 

Avu: Vaishu di, aap samajh hi gaye hoge, yeh Siddharth hai. { Vaishu di, you must have understood, he is Siddharth.}

Vaish: Hello Sid. 

Sid: Hello Vaishu di. 

Avu made a face, he didn't even have to call Vaish and Jai from any different name but she had to call Vibha aunty and Jannat di. Sid noticed it and suppressed a chuckle. Just then Fais came. 

Sid: Aur yeh rahe bhaiya. { And here is my brother.}

Avu turned in his direction. 

Faisneet: YOU? 

All looked at them confused so they smiled nervously as Fais sat next to Jaan. 

Sid: Dono ek dusre ko jante ho pehle se? { You both know each other?}

Avu was confused, according to her he is Faisal Shaikh. 

Fais: Mai Faisal Nigam. 

Now she realised, he just said her a different surname. 

Avu: Hello. 

Fais: Hello Avu. Tera bhai nahi aaya? { Hello Avu. Your brother didn't come?}

Avu: Woh aata hi hoga. { He'll be here soon.}

They all talked for sometime then Jai arrived. 

Abhijeet: Tu? 

Avu: Jai, tujhse 4 saal bade hai woh. { Jai, he is 4 years elder to you.}

He ignored her looking at Abhi. 

Jai: Kaha tha tu? { Where were you?}

Abhi: Mai toh yahi tha, tune agli baar waisa kuch kiya toh muh to... chodunga nahi tujhe. { I was here only, if you did something like that again I will break yo... not leave you.}

Jai: Meri galti nahi thi. { It wasn't my fault.}

Abhi: Ha ha, pata hai. { Yeah yeah, I know.}

All looked at the two shocked. 

Vibha/Avu: Abhi/Jai yeh kya tarika hai baat karne ka? { Abhi/ Jai what way is this of talking?}

Abhijeet: Sorry. 

Jai: Par di, aapne pehechana nahi? Aapke dada hai yeh. { But di, you didn't recognise him? He is your dada.}

Her confused expression soon went away. 

Avu: Dada, aap?  { Dada, you?}

Sid: Avu hai chutki? { Avu is chutki?}

Abhi: Ha. 

She gave him a hug which he returned with a smile. Sid smiled looking at them, Vaishu, Vibha and Faisnat were still confused though. 

Jaan: Tum teeno pehle bhi mil chuke ho? { You three have met earlier?}

Abhi: Ha bhabhi, hum ek baar ek orphanage gaye the na, waha mujhe Jai mila tha. Isliye hum aise baat kar rahe the, kuch bache waise baat karte the jo hume funny laga toh unki tone copy karte the. Hum roz milte the aur phir mai Avu ko mila. Pehle Avu ko mujh par utna bharosa nahi tha, par phir baadme karne lagi aur mujhe dada bulaane lagi. Sid ko mujhe dada bolne ka idea yaha se aaya. Par kuch din baad hum teeno ka milna band ho gaya, phir seedha aaj dekh raha hu in dono ko. { Yes bhabhi, we had once gone to an orphanage right, I met Jai there. That's why we were talking like that, few kids there used to talk like that which we found funny and mimicked. We used to meet everyday and later I met Avu. First she didn't trust me, but later she started to and started calling me dada. Sid got the idea of calling me dada from here. But after few days we three stopped meeting and met today directly.}
