Married by mistake or by destiny?

Chapter 23

Skips to one month later: 

Jaireem are officially dating now, Abhinavi also confessed so are dating now. Vibha had gone to a relatives home few days back as she is going to visit Dwarka with them and then Badrinath. Sid had proposed Avu but... 

After Sid proposed, Avu was standing there quiet, not knowing what to say. Faisnat, Roshni, Jaireeem and Abhinavi were also there. All except Fais and Sid were confused on why she isn't answering. Sid waited, not knowing what her answer will be. He has seen the fear and love in her eyes, so it can be a yes or a no also. Fais came forward to her. Jai remembered his and Avu's conversation, now he realised, Avu was scared of loving Sid. 

Fais: Avu. 

She looked at him. 

Fais: I know what you are feeling, but just think once and then give the final answer. If you say yes today, there is no going back. 

She nodded, that's the reason she couldn't say yes. 

Fais: If you say no, then it will remain a no forever, you'll never get the courage to say yes. 

Her eyes got teary, this is the reason she couldn't say no. 

Fais: But don't leave him hanging, its either yes or no. 

Avu: I don't know what to do. 

She whispered to him. 

Fais: Guys, we'll be back in a minute, I want to talk to her alone. 

All nodded and Faisneet went aside. 

Avu: You never told me, what was your answer when bhabhi proposed you. You must have had the same thoughts right? 

Fais: Yes, I did. But I never answered her proposal. That's why I never said you also the answer. 

Avu: Why? You must have said something right? 

Fais: I didn't know what to say, but before I could say anything, she got a call, her brother and father got into an accident. So I immediately took her to the hospital they were in. 

Avu: Then what happened? 

Fais: I proposed her. I was scared, what will happen if something happens to me. But then, I had my whole family, when I love them and they love me, why not Jaan? If she can loose me, even my family can. And if I am alive, then after passing my position, maybe there will be regret. Its the same in your case. You won't be the leader whole life, one day you will pass the position to someone else if you are alive. After that? We know Sid, he'll understand and move on if something happens to you and will be proud of you. 

Avu thought over everything he said and knew what to do. They went back. 

Avu: I love you too Sid. 

All smiled and Sid hugged her. 

Its been 3 weeks to that now. According to all they are dating now. But Sidneet are already enjoying their married life, maybe not exactly enjoying as they are scared of everyone finding out. 

Avu: I hope soon this act gets over and we get married in front of all. 

Sid: Even me. But there is time, we can't marry few weeks after we start dating. 

Avu: I know. Its difficult to hide while doing any rituals. 

Sid: Hmm. But one thing is good, we don't have to meet secretly anymore, we live together only. 

Avu: Yeah. And seeing bhaiya bhabhi makes it easier to know what exactly to do. 

Sid: Look there. 

She saw where he was pointing and saw the moon looking like its peeking out of the tree covering a part of it from their view. They had come out for a drive after dinner and are on a hill type place now. 

Avu: Sid, I wanted to ask something. 

He looked at her. 

Sid: Hmm, ask. 

Avu: If a couple has a child, why is it necessary for them to be married? Can't an unmarried couple have a child if they love each other? 

Sid: Honestly, I don't know, just the society judgement. Or maybe they feel insecure without marriage, what if the other person leaves, they feel marriage creates responsibility. 

Avu: Marriage doesn't tie two people together forever, why don't people understand that? Its love which keeps them together, or they can divorce also. Because of society's judgement the child's life gets spoiled, he/she is called illegitimate. 

Sid: Why this topic suddenly? 

Avu: Today cousin brother of a friend of mine died in an accident, his whole life he was taunted and mistreated, called illegitimate just because his parents chose not to marry. It was their belief that marriage won't keep them happy, but they loved each other. After his birth they realised they can't go against society and married, but that changed nothing. They regret their decision, but I don't understand what was wrong in that. And why he had to suffer even if it was wrong, they chose not to marry right? 

Sid didn't know what to say on that. 

Avu: I didn't know him, but I saw my friend, how devastated she was. 

Sid: Yeah, they didn't do anything wrong, but we can't do anything about that. What has happened can't be changed. And the reality is we might not be able to even if we see any other child suffering the same, or we might be able to, we don't know that. So I can't say anything much about that, sometimes its better to just let life move on, past won't change. Be it stranger or someone from our own family, we know once gone, they won't return, so just move forward in life. 

Avu: You'll do the same if I die? 

Sid: Actually yes, it will be very difficult and will take a lot of time, but I will. And I know you'll do the same if the case is opposite.
