Married by mistake or by destiny?

Chapter 31

Jaan: So you four were friends during your college time? 

Fais: Yes. Faisal was a transfer student. And Roshni was the one helping him catch up with what all was done, so they became friends. Soon Roshni introduced him to us also. 

Jaan: Since Roshni came here, I noticed you both looked like enemies, not friends. I never brought it up, but why were you both so angry on each other? 

Fais: Because of that same incident. It spoiled not only Roshni and Faisal's friendship but broke our whole group. After college ended, Faisal disappeared. He never met any of us as he thought Roshni hates him because of what all she said him in anger. Then one day he met Avu and took her with him to tell her everything. After returning Avu informed me of it after convincing him to let me know. It was one month back. 

Jaan: So Faisal was already meeting Roshni when she was living here since she came? 

Fais: Yes. He found the way to sneak into her room. And I knew it since the first day. I was passing by when I heard his voice, they both were arguing. He was trying to make Roshni confess as he had realised he loves her and she loves him. But she wasn't able to say it because of the person who had kidnapped all of us. For saving her child she had to do several things. 

Jaan: He was blackmailing her? 

Fais: Yes. You remember you found my watch, chain and keys in her room? 

Jaan nodded. 

Fais: It was planned. My watch was there since even before she came here, but no one goes to that room, so we didn't see it earlier. After coming Roshni had hidden the watch to use it in his plan. And the chain, she had taken it. I don't know how and when she was successful in taking it. 

Jaan: So it was all a set up to make me think you slept with her? 

Fais: Yeah. She did everything he said, but since that day she has been feeling guilty despite knowing you didn't believe any of that. And she used an advantage of it, she tried making Faisal believe the same so that he stops trying. 

Jaan: Then what about the keys? And that drink, it must be connected to all this as well.  

Fais: Keys fell from my hand only by mistake. I had gone to her room in the morning, when she was asleep. I had found out about a file of his which she had. I had to take it without her knowing only. And the drink, yeah she had purposefully mixed cardamom in it. But she couldn't let you drink it as she was doing it without her will. And she herself being pregnant knew how it would be for you if you faced miscarriage because of it. Then she started lying to him, not doing anything he said. It was a very big risk she took by doing that. 

Jaan: Why did you and Avu get them married? 

Fais: We didn't want to leave any point which they can use against us. Fais had agreed and even Rosh was ready, but she was still very angry on him. And it would be better for their child also. 

Then Jaan asked the last question left. 

Jaan: What happened that night? What was the reason for your guilt? It almost made me think you are the father for once. 

She saw some different expression on his face. 

Flashback: { I'll be using Fais for Faisal Nigam and Fai for Faisal Khan.}

Fais: I am not coming, you all go no. 

Avu: I am not going to be the only being taken there forcefully. 

Fai: You both always do this. What's the problem? We all will be back in few hours. 

Fais: Ok, we'll also come. 

Later all four went to the club. Roshal went to dance after sometime. 

Fais: Avu, I'll be back, till then you order the drinks. 

Avu: Ok. 

Soon he returned to see the three talking. 

Fais: You gave the order? 

Avu: Rosh di did. 

Just then their drinks were brought. After sometime Fais picked his but noticed some strange smell. 

Fais: Wait, don't drink. 

But Roshal had already drunk. 

Avu: What happened? 

Fais: Its alcoholic. I hope its not very strong. 

Rosh: But I ord... 

She stopped as she lost her balance, Avu held her before she could fall. 

Avu: Looks like the effect has started showing. And I think it may be strong. 

Fais: Yeah. 

He said while holding Fai as he started going somewhere. They took Roshal to the car. Avu started driving. Fais was beside her, and the other two in back seat, speaking some non-sense while hugging each other. 

Fais: AVU, STOP. 

Instead of stopping sped up while changing the direction they were going in by mistake due to panic. He quickly took hold of the steering so that the car doesn't crash. He came to the driver's side and stopped the car before getting off. 

Fais: Avu, are you fine? 

Avu: Ye...

They heard a gun shot and Fais turned around, due to which the bullet which was about to hit him hit Avu instead and she fell unconscious. Fais ran behind the person on instinct, not able to think properly. He got hold of the person and that's when he realised, Avu is unconscious and Roshal are drunk. He made the man unconscious and ran to the car. But Roshal weren't there anymore. He saw them entering the club again but had to take Avu hospital first as she was bleeding very much. He took the man in the car and shifted Avu to the passenger seat before driving to the hospital.
