Sid was in college when he received the message saying Sumedh's ex-wife had given in, scared and was now gone. Somewhere he was happy this happened as he got his friend back. He called Abhi.
Sid: Hello.
Abhi: Your college ended?
Sid: Yeah.
Abhi: I'll reach in few minutes.
Sid hummed. Soon Abhi arrived and he stopped the car after sometime.
Sid: Which place is this?
Abhi: You said you want to talk in the car itself, then how does the place matter?
Sid: Hmm. Dada, I had to say that... I and Avu are married.
He was confused when there was no change in Abhi's expressions.
Sid: You won't say anything?
Abhi: First you say why, when, how. You both won't marry and then hide it just like that.
Sid explained everything and Abhi listened calmly. This shocked Sid, he couldn't understand the reason behind Abhi's reaction to what he said. Shouldn't he be angry, hurt or anything?
Abhi: Does anyone know of it?
Sid: Fais bhai does. He was angry at first but forgave us now.
Abhi: Hmm. If he forgave then I also have no problem, I'm just happy you said it to me.
Sid: You won't say anything?
Abhi: What you both did was not right, but I can't say it wrong either. Yeah you both should have come to all of us instead of making such a big decision, should have not hidden it later, but I know you both have realized your mistake and there is no use repeating what I am sure bhai must have already said.
Sid: So you are not angry?
Abhi: No, I understand how the situation would have been. But if you both repeat the mistake then it won't be forgivable.
Sid: We won't.
Abhi smiled.
Abhi: But why aren't you both saying it to everyone together?
Sid: We felt you all won't be able to give an honest reaction if together. And we think it's better if we talk to each person alone. By now Avu must have started saying maa about it. Then I'll tell Jai, she'll tell bhabhi. Then together we'll say it to Vaishu di and Reem at the same time. Bhai had said he'll help us convince anyone who gets angry. It mainly depends on maa though that where will mine and Avu's relationship go now.
Abhi: Yeah. I just hope maa accepts the marriage, even if by asking you both to marry again.
Sid hummed.
Sid: We should go home now.
Abhi nodded and drove back home. They went in to find Avu and their mother in hall itself, Vibha appearing angry.
Sid: Maa
She didn't respond, just looked away. He went and sat on the ground, holding her hand.
Avu: Aunty, please maaf kardo, aage se kuch nahi chupayege hum. { Aunty, please forgive us, we'll never hide anything ever again.}
Sid: Ha mummy, abse kuch bhi puch kar hi karenge. Aap jaisa kahoge waise karenge. { Yes mummy, we'll ask you before doing anything. We'll do as you say.}
She still didn't respond.
Sid: Sorry na maa.
Abhi: Maa, maan jao na, in dono ko samajh aa gayi apni galti aur aage se nahi karenge. { Maa, forgive them no, they have realised their mistake and will never repeat it.}
Avu: Please maa.
Vibha looked at her.
Avu: Sorry, aunty.
She looked at them for few minutes before speaking.
Vibha: Pakka aisa nahi karoge na? { Pakka you will not repeat it right?}
Sidneet: Kabhi nahi. { Never.}
She smiled.
Vibha: Tum dono ki jodi sachme bhagwaan ki hi marzi hai, humesha khush rehna aur saath rehna. { You both are really a pair made by god's will, always be happy and be together.}
She kissed their foreheads and they smiled looking at each other.
Vibha: Lekin Abhi ki shaadi ke baad tum dono ko bhi phir se shaadi karni hogi, humare waale reeti riwaaz ke saath is baar. Aur tab tak dhyaan rakhna ki kisiko bhi pata na chale ki tum dono ki shaadi ho chuki hai. { But after Abhi you both will have to marry once again, this time by following our customs. And till then be careful no one finds out that you both are married.}
Sidneet agreed.
Vibha: Aur Abhi, tu kab se yeh baat janta hai? { And Abhi, since when do you know this?}
Abhi: Hum ghar aa rahe the tab Sid ne raaste mein bataya. { When we were coming home Sid said me on the way.}
Vibha: Phir theek hai. Acha mujhe bahut kaam hai, andar jao sab. { Then it's fine. Ok now I have a lot of work, you all go inside.}
They went to Sidshek's room.
Avu: I'm talking to bhabhi after bhai returns on video call.
Sid: Even Jai is yet to return.
Abhi: Vaishu also hasn't returned so you both can talk to her and Reem later only.
Later after Fais returned Avu was about to call Jaan from Fais' phone but received Jaan's call. They found out Jaan is being taken to the delivery room and immediately rushed out to inform Vibha. Here Sid had said Jai everything but before Jai could speak they heard the noise and came. Fais and Vibha left for the hospital while Avu informed everyone of where they went.
Sid: But the due date was two weeks later.
Abhi: I hope they both are fine.
Vaish: We can call aunty, bhai must be either driving or with bhabhi. We'll know everything happening there in this way.
Abhi nodded and called Vibha. All were worried, only Fais was there inside with Jaan. When the door finally opened, two nurses rushed out.
JM: Are they fine?
N1: They will be, let's hope for the best. Right now I have to go.
She went, leaving everyone even more tensed.
