Chapter seventeen|A party?

Ellie's pov:

I woke up because of the sun shining to my face.Hearing everyone up already.I took a few seconds to wake up completely and then i got up.

I slid on my slippers and checked myself in the mirror."Damn-I look good" I chuckled before hearing my door opening.

"So you're up already" Daniel smiled."Well i just woke up so im not sure if that counts"

"Someone is in a good mood huh?" He said while placing a plate with few Arepas and two eggs on my desk."I saved these for you since you missed breakfast"

"That's so nice from you.Thank you!" I gave him a smile as he went back to the door."I'II leave now so you can change and stuff so see you!" Daniel said closing the door."I am so lucky to have him" I mumbled.

I grabbed an Arepa while opening my window.I could see the alley and people just walking around.I took a bit from my Arepa while still watching the people.It was so relaxing.

When i was done eating i closed the door and placed the plate back on my desk.I got dressed and combed my hair.

I went downstairs because there's not much to do in my room.When i walked into the living room most of the family was there.Luis solving the puzzle and Daniel was helping him while my dad and abuelo had a conversation about some town things.

I was just trying to figure out what i am going to do today Miguel rushed to me while holding some shit."Care to explain what is this?" I raised my eyebrow while pointing at the thing he was holding.

"That is-" Miguel said before a doorbell interrupted him."You will tell me about it later" I said walking to the main door.

"Oh hey Mirabel!" I smiled."Wanna hang out?" She smiled.I nodded walking out of the house and closing the door behind me.

"What is a good excuse for throwing a party?" She asked."Good morning to you too and you want to throw a party?" I raised my eyebrow."No-I mean-Yes but not only me" Mirabel said.

"Nope-I still don't get it" I said."Well our family is coming to Encanto for few days and we want to throw a party to look cool you know" She laughed."So do you have any good excuse?" Mirabel added.

"Why don't you just throw a party to celebrate their arrival?" Alec appeared out of nowhere.

"How the hell did you got here?!" I yelped."This is a public alley" Alec smirked."I know but i mean how did you found us" I rolled my eyes."Mamá send me to get salt" He lifted the bag of salt up to show us."That still-" Mirabel said before i interrupted her.

"Wait-It's possible to run out of salt?" I joked."Obviously" Alec said."But that is smart actually" Mirabel cheered."What?" I raised my eyebrow."To celebrate their arrival"

"See how smart i am" Alec said bumping my shoulder."Yeah yeah" I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Well i have to go now.So Mamá doesn't have to wait for the salt" Alec smiled."Bye for now!" He added walking away."Bye!" I waved my hand.

Then i turned back to Mirabel."So a family huh?" I said."Yes they are coming...i don't even know why but yeah" She chuckled.

"Well when is the party going to be?" I asked."This weekend" She said."I hope that i am invited" I giggled."Of course you are!" Mirabel smiled.

"Camilo's girlfriend couldn't be missing" She teased me."Shush!He's not my boyfriend" I laughed.

"Then what did the last night meant?"
