Chapter twenty-one|Left out

Ellie's pov:

I walked over to Camilo grabbing a half of the plates he was holding.I wanted to tell him about the dare.But i couldn't.Dolores would hear me.

I started placing the plates on the table while starting a conversation with Camilo."Have you ever meet them before?" I asked earning a confused glare from Camilo."The Maragals"

"Oh-Yeah i did.After my ceremony they came to visit us." He smiled."But it has been 10 years and i heard that they have lots of new babies so" he chuckled."They're a big family?" I asked."As you can see by the size of the table.Yes"

He was right.The table was much bigger than it normally is.And when i counted the plates along with mine and the Madrigal's i counted 27 plates.Damn-

"My abuela must like you" Camilo said placing the last plate on the table."What makes you think that?" I raised my eyebrow."She's so nice to you!I've never seen her that nice to anyone before"

"That's weird-I have no idea what's that special on me" I laughed."Maybe because you are such an amazing human" Camilo smirked."Yeah yeah" I playfully rolled my eyes grabbing the silverware.

"Camilo!Ellie!The hosts are almost here!" We heard Abuela calling us.I placed the last fork on the table and then heading to the main room with Camilo.

The half of the family was already there.Only one's that still weren't there was Luisa,Augustín and Mirabel.But they quickly arrived.

"Why are we even waiting here?" I whispered to Camilo."I have no idea" He chuckled."I think it's more creepy then welcoming" I said before we heard a knock on a door.

"Abuela your sister's here!" Camilo yelped.I bumped into his hand.He gave me a smirk before looking back at the door.A huge family with their bags was standing there.

"Bianca!" Alma smiled pulling the old woman into her embrace."Alma!" The old woman grinned."Im so glad to see you."She said before turning to the family.

"Welcome to la casa Madrigal!" Alma said and the music started playing.Casita brought the family's bags into their rooms and everyone were greeting each other.

I saw a lot of new faces.It was so overwhelming.I was used to big families but this was so fast.Señorita Pepa was greeting a quite tall woman with black hair in two braids.She was wearing a beutiful green dress.Mirabel was hugging a girl and boy.I assumed that they were twins.Because they looked the same.

"Carlos!" Camilo smiled walking towards a tall boy his age.They looked the same-Not like Camilo shapeshifted into him.He was in his original form but they were just same.Even their clothing.

"Long time no see dude" Camilo smiled.The boy nodded his head and pulled Camilo into a hug."You've must be hungry.Come on y'all let's go eat breakfast" Alma said leading the family into the dining room.

I sat on my usual place between Camilo and Dolores.This time Mirabel sat next to Dolores.Well soon the chair where was Mirabel supposted to sit was taken by Carlos.It was probably because of Camilo.

Everyone filled their plates and began chatting and eating.The Families had so much to say.But then Abuela cleared her throat and began her speech.

"First i would like to introduce you to our host.This is Ellie" She smiled looking my way.And second.I wanted to mention that i am so glad to see you.The family Maragals in our Casita again!I hope you will enjoy your being here." Alma wanted to began eating before a women that was greeting Pepa before interrupted her."Is it possible to move the party for tommorow?We don't feel like partying today after the long way here"

"Of course Irene.I and the Madrigals have no problem with that" Alma smiled.Everyone started eating their meal again.Camilo and Carlos started chatting making me feel left out.I just let it be since they haven't seen each other for 10 years.But i have to admit that i was kinda jealous.

Everyone were chatting with each other.Except me.Why did they even invited me?I just felt so useless and left out.I felt like i am not the part of all this.Which i wasn't.

Camilo must've noticed that i was bit off."Is everything alright bonita?" Camilo asked."Yeah why?" I raised my eyebrow,trying to act like nothing is happening.Then it must've clicked him why i was so quiet.

"What about playing some family games after dinner?"

A/N:Since the whole Encanto fandom is talking about Camilo's original version.Carlos.I've decided to add him into this story to spice things up. ;)
