I lifted myself up on the wagon, with the help of my dad's hands.
"Is everyone ready? Do we got everything?" My ma looked around at us
"Ready as we can be" my dad took a step up front, to control the horses, tied to our wagon.
The sun was shining and the road was long ahead of us, but we made it after days of traveling across the country. Finally, we arrived.
"Here we are" my dad smiled at the colorful city. The townspeople were staring quite a bit, making me embarrassed of our entrance, just rolling into the city like that.
Papa stopped the wagon infront of a big yellow building with beautiful vines growing down the sides of the house. We all got out of the wagon and started lifting our things inside our new house. Not me though, I was too weak to lift a muscle at this point, so I just sat in the wagon, watching the rest work, feeling kind of guilty for not being there to help.
"I haven't seen you before, are you new?" I turned my head to the lady next to me. She wore a long blue skirt and her brown hair in a bun. She looked extremely strong. Like she could lift an entire building with her bare hands.
"Yea, I mean yes." I stumbled over my own words. I'm guessing she noticed my staring at her inhuman muscles, because she nervously cleared her throat and said "uh, anyway do you need help with those boxes?"
"That's very kind of you, but yes, I guess we could use some help." I smiled friendly at her. "Great. Im Luisa by the way."
"Y/n." I answered quickly. she lifted the 5 heaviest boxes with no effort, stacked on each other and walked into our house, greeting my parents on her way.
I guess talking to strangers isn't that scary after all.
