Harrison and Max (adopted brothers au) !currently Re-writing!

What's wrong?

David POV

Once I finished telling Max and Harrison about the big news, I expected them to be beaming with excitement, and ready to take down those meanies! But when I looked at Max he looked shocked, scared, and rather pale. I turned my head to look at Harrison and he looked pretty hopeful, but one quick look at Max and his expression changed from happy to confused to the same fearful look as Max's.

 "What's wrong guys"I say, trying to figure out why they were looking at me like I just killed their grandmother.

"David..." Harrison starts, staring at David with wide, unblinking eyes. "WHAT THE HELL!!" Max yells, cutting off Harrison. 

 "What!? Don't you want to not have to worry about them?" I say before I put two and two together . "Wait... If it's a court date than that means... Oh dear.." Max at this point looks like he is going to have a full scale panic attack. "How about you go upstairs for right now, you two" Harrison helps a shakey max up to their shared bedroom and I can't help but feel horrible, the feast of the day goes by with barely any  conversation between us three, Max and Harrison stay in this room together, but I doubt they are interacting much with each other. We had lunch, and later, we had dinner, but the entire time Max looked wouldn't say anything to me, and before I knew it we had to go to bed, at least I found my log this morning..
