Pancakes and Anime

Harrison POV

After about another hour of laying there and trying to get back to sleep, I eventually climb out of bed to go ahead and get ready for today. Surprisingly, Max is actually down on the bottom bunk this morning, he's still asleep though, so I deside not to mess with him. I go to get my clothes for today, and realize that I forgot to take a shower last night so I need to take one this morning. I grab a yellow flannel and blue jeans for my outfit today and start walking down the hall to the bathroom.

-after he gets ready because I don't feel like writing that-

I go down stairs to find David making breakfast and a half-awake Max drinking coffee on the couch, I don't think he knows what day today is yet. Which is pretty sad considering it's his trial date that's only two days away counting today. I grab the remote and turn on the TV and go to rumination and turn on The Promised Neverland, before putting it back to the episode we were on, we watch in silence until David calls us to get breakfast. We eat in a comfortable silence. "Sooo, .... What are we going to do today?" David asks, breaking said, comfortable silence. "How about we have a leave-Max-the-fuck-alone day?" Max offers, the anger in his tone mostly pointing at David. I guess he does know what day it is?

Max finishes his pancakes and gets up to put his plate in the sink. He has to stand on his tip-toes to reach.

Max makes a second cup of coffee and walks back to the couch an unpauses the episode. "..." "So what's you're favorite book series?" I ask David, in an attempt to start a conversation.

After an interesting conversation with David about the Percy Jackson series, and why the movies were horrible, we join Max in watching season two of The Promised Neverland, after maybe two hours or so? Give or take? We somehow end up watching a whisker away, and once we finnish that we start watching one piece. After, like four hours of watching Luffy being an Idiot, David goes and starts to prepare lunch.

After lunch, me and Max start playing Minecraft and David goes to his office (the room right across from the bathroom) to start preparing lessons for his students, because school starts back in like, two weeks, and for some reason he didn't think he had to tell us what he was also a teacher at the school he registered is for. But, other than Max being a noob at Minecraft, the day was pretty calm.
