i started watching hunter x hunter AND I LOVE IT! i'm only on like the 13th episode of the first season so SHUSH

makayla's pov
i spent the next week catching up with my three best friends, claire, matti, evelyn and i have been friends since grade one

we went to the beach and then went out for dinner, i told them about vinnie and the three of them promised to not say a word on social media or to our other friends until vin and i post something or speak up about it

we then went back to our houses to grab bikes and went for a bike ride until the sun went down, we have always been into staying out late

evelyn brought a speaker in her bag and she started blasting "Cough Syrup" by young the giant as we were biking towards the beach

i smiled as the warm breeze consumed the air, blowing my semi-wet hair off my shoulders. i really missed doing this with the three of them

we all went back to mattis for the night as claire pulled her bong out from her backpack

"u had that in there this whole time?!" i exclaim

"yeah haha" she laughs

since claire brought the bong she's the first to pack her bowl, then me, then evelyn, and then matti

we each took two tokes and by then we were all tripping. i snuck off into mattis bathroom and called vinnie

he answered after a few rings, he was sitting at his desk with his headset on. one side pulled behind his ear to hear me

"hi love" he smirked

"h-hey vincent" i say slowly

"makayla are u high?" he questions

"shhh only a little. but don't tell mattis mom!"

"okay okay i don't even know her mom so u don't have to worry, is everything okay love? why did u call me?" he asks

"i miss u vinnie, a lot. i j-ust wanna se- see u" i feel tears begging to escape my eyes

"i miss u too, maybe jett and i will come visit u and ur mom soon, how does that sound?" he suggests

"if u fly out right now that sounds good!" i yell a little too loud

i hear a knock on the door and claire's muffled voice ask if i'm okay

i unlock the door and let her in, she says hi to vinnie and tells me to come back into mattis room

"vin i gotta go i love u so much please come soon" i mumble

"bye bye lovely" he smiles ending the call

i stumble back to mattis room and flop down onto her bed, exhaustion creeping up

i start to doze off hoping i'll dream of vinnie.. and surprisingly i do

i dreamt i was back at the hype house with him and hera in his room but it was a brief, quick, almost flashback

i find myself being shaken awake, i open my eyes to see claire peering over my face

i can hear music playing from somewhere in the house

"u have been out for hours dude u good?" she asks with a smile

"yeah, the high hit me harder than expected but i'm good now" i sit up

"it's like 12:00am btw, matti and evelyn are in the kitchen.. her mom is staying out for the night so they invited people over" she says sitting on the bed
