chapter 13

hellooo. writing instead of studying for my pre-calc test lolz. i hope u guys are liking this story so far, i've been putting a lot of my time into it trying to make it the best i can:)
Vinnie's pov
My eyes slowly blink open, brightness consuming my vision. Last nights events flood my mind, I can't help but feel almost sorry. I feel like I went too hard on Makayla, I feel like I shouldn't have been so rough

She's wrapped in my arms, her legs tangled with mine under the covers. She looks unbelievably gorgeous. Her perfect plump and pink lips, her faint freckles scattered across her cheeks that are painted a light pink, her luscious and long eyelashes twitching slightly

I reach behind me patting my hand around until I find my phone, it's 10:26am. I turn back over to pull Makayla closer to me, I start placing kisses on the side of her cheek down to her neck

I hear her take a deep breath in and I watch a smile creep onto her face, her eyes still closed

God I love her

"Goodmorning beautiful" I whisper trailing kisses from her temples down to her jawline

"Goodmorning Vin" she says quietly. She turns around to face me, cringing from pain while doing so

A wave of guilt washes over me again, I still feel like I shouldn't have taken advantage of going faster or harder when she asked. I feel like I got carried away

She's looking at me with doe eyes, a slight grin on her face. I start to lean in wanting nothing more than to kiss her right now. The gap between our lips shrinking, I close my eyes until I feel myself being stopped by two of her fingers being placed on my lips

I open my eyes with confusion giving her a questioning expression

"Morning breath, I'm not kissing you until we both brush our teeth" she smirks

I get up quickly, run into her bedroom and into her bathroom to grab her toothbrush. I walk back in to see Hera snuggled in her arms

God that is so fucking cute

"I got your toothbrush" I smile at her, she's scratching the top of Hera's head smiling at her

I pick up Hera off her chest and put her back down beside Makayla, she gives me a confused look and in a swift motion and pick Makayla up and throw her over my shoulder, her shouts of protests fill the room along with the thudding of her hitting my abdomen

Obviously her fists bounced right off the hard surface, she groans and gives up going limp in my arms. I place her on the counter and start putting toothpaste on both of our toothbrushes, I hand hers to her and she starts brushing her teeth looking me dead in the eyes

She sticks out her tongue and starts brushing it, she then closes her mouth again sucking off the toothbrush. She spits out everything in her mouth into the sink and runs the tap to get it off the white porcelain

I spit out the contents in my mouth and rinse with water spitting it back into the sink, running the tap like she did

She's still staring at me tilting her head down looking at me through her eyelashes

I wrap my right hand around her neck tightening my grip causing her mouth to open slightly. I crash my lips onto hers running my tongue across her teeth begging her to let it enter her mouth

She opens wider letting my tongue in as
I swirl it around her mouth, she snakes one of her arms around my neck pulling me even closer into her. Her other hand running down my abs

She traces over each muscle making my body tense and breath hitch. The taste of mint coursing through my tastebuds, she moans into the kiss until suddenly pushing me away

Fucking tease

She stands up and simply walks out of my bedroom, I follow her down the hallway as she hears downstairs. I pick up my pace but am met with Jett opening his door almost smacking me in the face

"Sorry dude" he says fist bumping me "hey have you seen Makayla yet this morning? she wasn't in her room all morning and I couldn't find her anywhere" he asks me

I feel kind of guilty hiding this from my best friend but I think it's a better decision to wait a little bit

"Uh yeah I just saw her head downstairs" i say continuing my way downstairs now by Jett's side

We made our way into the kitchen chatting with the few people awake. I couldn't help but glance over to Makayla every few minutes, the way she will just listen to anyone talk for hours and let them say what they need to

She was talking with Kouvr about things I couldn't quite hear, Jack and Jett were talking at a louder volume drowning out Makayla and Kouvr's voices

The day consisted of skating, swimming, getting baked and making out with Makayla in corners or behind doors

It was about 9pm and Makayla was nowhere to be found downstairs, I made my way upstairs and to her door. I gave a light knock earning a "come in" I found her with her suitcase on her bed and some folded clothes on her bed

"Woah woah what the fuck are you doing?" I question concerned

It hasn't been 2 weeks yet has it?

"I have to leave in 2 days Vin" she says with a sigh

"Well then let's go" I say

"What?" she asks

"We are going for a drive, I haven't taken you into town at night yet" I say taking my car keys out of my pocket and dangling them in front of her face

She smiles wide and links arms with me as we walk out, she immediately drops it as we leave the bedroom

She told everyone we were just going to town quickly to buy some things from the drugstore

We headed out to my car and she got in, it was so obvious she was excited. Her grin wouldn't leave her face
