ARE U- WHAT 2K READS IM SCREAMING THANK U SO MUCH makayla's pov our flight leaves tomorrow morning. i'm going to live with thomas, jack, mia, jake, jett and vinnie in the hype house
since vinnie and jett have been here, alex kouvr and a few others went through with their move and live in a new house
that's the reason they were all so chill about me joining, they weren't planning on being there much longer
but i'm still so excited to move into the house, i miss jake and jack, i miss smoking with jack too
i also miss ryland and chase, i text ryland every now and then but i want to see him again
currently, vinnie, jett and i are in my room, vinnie's playing valorant on my pc while jett and i are sitting on my bed watching him or playing on our phones
i feel a little guilty leaving my mom but she'll probably never be home anyways
she decided to let me take eleanor with me to la since she claims she doesn't want to take care of her anymore
so of course i agreed to take her, we arranged everything with the airline and they're okay with me taking her onto the plane
thank god
all of our bags are packed, it's 8:17pm and our flight leaves at 6:00am
"motherfucker" i hear vinnie curse under his breath
"did u lose?" i ask not looking up from my phone
"yeah" he sighs "i did"
"can i play?" i ask looking up to face him
"yeah sure" he says taking the headset off and standing up
i played for an hour until jett complained he was bored, i suggested we go for a drive and the two of them agreed
jett offered to drive and vinnie called shotgun, i was okay with sitting in the back though. i have my own space and i can sit however i want
vinnie was on aux, of course his music taste is phenomenal so the ride was even better. every now and then i would catch vinnie's head turned to me, just looking at me
"u guys wanna get milkshakes?" jett asks earning a yes from vinnie and i
jett makes a few turns and vinnie turns to face me again, i look at him and give him a light smile. he stares for a few seconds before mouthing the words "ur beautiful"
i grin at him before turning away to hide the blush that had creeped over my cheeks and i hear him snicker
we pull into the mcdonald's parking lot and get out of the car, i made us go inside since i had to pee anyways
we walk inside and order our shakes, i got a shamrock shake and so did jett and vinnie
"okay guys i'll be right back" i say turning around to head to the bathroom
i come back from the bathroom to find vinnie and jett surrounded by teenage girls
should i wait here?
i don't know what to do, do i try to push my way through the mob or wait?
i decide to just wait until they leave, which took a very long time. afterwards i make my way towards them taking my milkshake from jett's hand
"i was wondering why i could hear teenage girls shrieking from the bathroom" i snicker looking at vinnie
he laughs and swings his arm across my shoulder as we walk out to the car, vinnie let me have the front seat on the way home like the gentleman he is
the drive home was spent like every single drive, loud music and windows down.. who would've guessed right?
we get back to my house and jett immediately goes to his bedroom claiming he's "freaking exhausted"
vinnie and i make our way up to my bedroom and i flip down onto my bed, he sits next to me scooping me up into his arms
"look at what i got" he says with a grin as he opens his phone
he shows me a picture he had taken of me in the car
"if u don't post this on instagram i'll kill u" he says with a straight face, i can tell he's trying not to crack a smile though
"that's a bit violent don't u think?" i smile while i observe the picture
"makayla u can't even see ur face but it's a cool photo.. post ittt" he whines
"okay okay fine if it'll make u shut up" i mutter

it's now almost 1:00am and i'm extremely tired, i toss my phone to the side and get situated so i can go to sleep. i'm still in vinnie's arms, he's currently scrolling through the comments on my instagram post making sure there is no creeps
i feel myself drifting off and i fall asleep quick
oh my god i'm so sorry that it took me SO LONG to get this chapter out i've been so busy UGH also how would guys feel about a possible sturniolo fic? no smut ofc or maybe enemies to lovers??
