i woke up cradled in vinnie arms, his light snores filled the room

i turned to my side grabbing my phone, the screen showed 9:41am

i was extremely comfortable in vinnie's embrace, i didn't want to get up

i lied there for a while, scrolling through social media and texting friends

thirty minutes had passed and vinnie was still in a deep sleep. every few minutes he would pull my body closer to his, tightening his grasp

my door opened slightly and jett peeked his head through

"ellie wants in.. that okay?" he whispered

i nod my head and he opens it a little more for her, he smiles and closes the door. ellie immediately jumps up onto my bed and curls into my chest

she starts purring not long after, i continue to pet her while scrolling through instagram

i notice a notification pop up in the corner, i assumed right away that is was either matti or claire sending me some meme but to my surprise it was thomas

i was about to click on it when vinnie's hand started rubbing my side

i turn off my phone and face him, his hair was messy and his eyes were a little puffy

"good-morning handsome" i smiled at him

"good-morning love" he grinned

"are u okay if i go shower?" i ask him starting to sit up

"yeah of cours- no ur not allowed to shower in ur own house" he jokes

i laugh and stand up grabbing my towel and clothes for after

vinnie's pov
thomas had texted our hype house group chat last night saying he wanted to add a member, i had no idea who it was, he usually talks about it for months before saying he's actually going to add them

it was decided then, she still hasn't said anything so i guess thomas hasn't texted her

i want to wait to talk about it incase he doesn't go through with it, i don't know why he wouldn't though

i started scrolling through tikok waiting for makayla to be done her shower

all of the sudden jett peeks his head in the door

"hey man, wanna chill downstairs?" he asks

"yeah sure" i say standing up

we head downstairs and into the kitchen, i push myself up onto the countertop and jett stands beside me leaning against the island

"are u okay with makayla joining the house?" jett speaks up

"yeah i am, are u?" i respond

"yeah, it'll be nice to see her more. i really miss living with her" he sighs. he takes his phone out of his pocket and starts scrolling through instagram

suddenly we both hear a scream from upstairs

"AHHHH OH MY GOD!"

we both turn to eachother and bolt up that stairs

"are u okay did u get hurt?!" jett asks with a hint of fear in his voice

"thomas asked me to be in the hype house!" she shouts holding her phone out in attempt to show us the messages but they're a little blurry because she won't stop shaking

"oh my god" i put a hand over my beating heart "i thought u hurt urself"

"sorry" she smiles lightly

"we knew already" jett grins

*time skip cause this is so boring i'm so sorry*

jett and i have been staying with makayla and her mom for almost a week now, our flight is in 4 days

jett, makayla, and i have gotten high 5 nights in a row, i don't think i've had this much fun in a long time

currently, the three of us are at some park downtown smoking joints. it's 2:24am and we are completely fucked

makayla was laying in my lap with her feet on jett's legs, she was almost sleeping

she had "another one" by mac demarco blasting out of her phone speakers as she hummed quietly

i was the least fucked up so i offered to drive us home, even though being high has never affected mine or jett's driving i went with my gut and let myself drive

the drive home was quick and to be honest i don't rlly remember a single thing that took place during it, i was too focused on the road

i carried makayla inside as jett followed slowly behind me, we all immediately fell asleep on the couch

i'm so sorry it took to so long to get this damn chapter out i've been swamped with science and the semester JUST started like cmon? anyways we reached 200 reads are u kidding me? THANK U OMG ILY MWAH
