Chapter 7

"you left your bag by the elevator" Toji said. He held the bag out to you and you politely took it.

"thank you, goodnight" You said closing the door. It stopped suddenly and Toji's foot was wedged between.

"(Y/N), wait.. i want to apologize again" He said. You opened the door and leaned you head against it.

"it's fine, Toji. she's gone now" You said.

"(Y/N)! this sushi isn't gonna eat itself!" Kim said.

"i'm coming!" You told her. "is that all, sir?" You asked.

"heh, yeah" He said. He nodded and turned away. You closed the door and tossed the bag onto the couch before you sat down.

"that's the bag? what'd i get?" She asked.

"it's a black dress. really nice and only $40" You said taking a bite of food.

"didn't you go to the thrift store? that's a lot for a dress" She said.

"you have to look at it first" You said. She stood up and reached across the table to grab the bag. She pulled out the long back dress and checked the brand.

You looked up at her and he mouth was hanging open. "what?.." You asked, food to one side of your mouth.

"this is Lusso brand! this dress is vintage!" She said.

"really? thats cool" You say, you took a sip of a drink you had nearby and Kim deadpanned at you.

"this dress is at least worth 7 billion and you just think it's cool?" She asked.

"i mean... did you wanna sell it?" You asked.

"i don't know... i should probably keep it and show it off first" She said.

"glad you said that, i know it'll look good on you. but whats so special about Lusso?" You asked.

"the women that made the brand was killed and all of her pieces were destroyed. i don't know how or why, but there were only a few pieces that were still around. they're often auctioned away for crazy prices" Kim said.

"i did not know you were crazy about this fashion stuff" You said.

"just a hobby" She shrugged. "thank you so much for thinking about me while our on your date" She smirked.

"kiss my ass" You chuckled.

You and Kim went over a few condos for you to stay in but you were still torn between two. The first one was nice, somewhere not too busy, and not too pricy. But it was too far out from the city.

The second place was smaller, decent price, near the city, and by some rich neighborhood.

"i don't know which one to pick... you do it" You said, turning her laptop towards her.

"hmm... the second one. i'll call the owners tomorrow" She said. You nodded in agreement and she started typing. You stood up and stretched out your aching back.

It cracked a few times and you sighed. You threw the leftover garbage away and turned off the TV. "i'm gonna head to bed, i'm feeling a food coma coming on" You said.

"i'm gonna go to sleep too, sushi is my melatonin" Kim said. She stood up and you walked go your room.

"goodnight!" You said before closing your door. You went straight to the bathroom and quickly did your night routine. When you were done, you plopped down onto the bed and realized in the silent room.
