Chapter 3

"c'mon (Y/N), you have a meeting in a few hours." You heard as someone shook you. You groaned and sat up rubbing away the sleep from your eyes.

"don't rub your eyes! c'mon you have to get ready, i'll be back i'm gonna go change." You groaned in response, and she sighed.

"don't forget about your audition (Y/N), 2 weeks fly by." She said before walking out. You heard the front door click and stood up.

You walked to the bathroom and got ready for your day. You chose to wear something more on the formal side since it was a business meeting.

You picked up a black mini skirt and tucked a versace button up into it. You pulled your Marley twists into a high bun and laid your edges.

You did some light makeup and left the room with your heels in hand. You walked to the living area and picked up the hotel phone.

It rang a few times, and someone finally answered. "hello, how may i assist?" A woman asked.

"do you guys still make breakfast at this hour?" You asked.

"yes, we make our food by request. what would you like?" She spoke.

"some apple crepes please." You said.

"okay, anything to drink?" She asked.

"a water bottle, and can you package it to go? i'll be down in a bit to pick it up." You said.

"of course! it should be ready in 7 minutes" She said. You thanked her and hung up the phone.

You sat down on the couch and picked up your script booklet. You went over a few lines, occasionally adding emotion, and got interrupted by a knock. You set the script down and went to the door. You checked the peephole and saw a worried Kim.

You opened the door and she sighed. "ugh, i thought you went back to sleep... you ready?" She sighed in relief.

"yeah.. are we late or something?" You asked.

"not exactly... but the meeting starts at 11 and it's 10:25." She said.

"that's not too b-"

"the building is 30 minutes away with a possibility of traffic." She said. You quickly grabbed your shoes and script and hurried out of the door. You both sped walked down the hall to the elevator. You put your heels on and the doors opened up.

You both rushed out of the elevator, and you bumped into someone. "i'm so sorry." You apologized looking at his face. He was on the taller side and had black hair. He gave you an annoyed look and scoffed.

"just watch your fucking step." He scoffed pushing past you. Kim noticed the loss of sound from your heels and turned to see the shove. She sees your face twinge and you turn to face him. You looked him up and down and began to speak.

"how ab-" You started.

"don't be a dick. c'mon (Y/N), you can't go off on people before a meeting." She said getting behind you and walking you off. You scowled at the man and refocused on your walk. You took a sharp turn to the reception desk and asked for your food.

They handed it to you in a cardboard to-go box, and you thanked them, walking off. You slightly ran as Kim opened the back seat door to your ride. You got into the limo and Kim Mission Imppossible'd into the passenger seat.

You laughed at her hurried state and the driver sped off.

You were going to be late in less than two minutes and had just stepped into the building. You and Kim rushed into the elevator and went to the top floor. You quickly walked out and and aimlessly walked.
