Yours and Megumi's phone rang nonstop. Message notifications and calls were coming in left and right. But it was the afternoon so you were thankful it wasn't happening earlier.

You were in the kitchen, looking a mess, as you had just arose from your slumber. You had a hand on your hip as you tiredly cooked a small breakfast for the two of you.

"you should answer if it's your dad, Megumi.." You urge. He hear him sigh and you turn to see him staring at the phone with a spiteful look. "just once, i don't want him to send out a search warrant" You shake your head before turning back.

"hello?.... i'm at (Y/N)s house....." Snd just like that he hangs up. Short but sweet i guess.

"could you turn the TV on? I'm avoiding my phone this morning" You say to him. He gets up from the small bar and sits on the couch.

You plate the food and let him pick what to watch on Tv. You hand him a plate and he thanks you. You both were peacefully watching TV with clear plates when you both notice the door unlock. You feel you heart drop as you wonder how the hell Toji could've gotten a key.

Then Kim storms in with a small box of doughnuts in hand and messy hair. "you haven't been responding to my texts or calls, and who is this?" She says before shutting the door and setting the box on the coffee table.

"my phones in the other room.." You say. She aggressively point at every charging lad that was near you and you shrug. "and this is megumi, he stayed here this morning" You answer.

"why?" She asks.

"he just wanted to hang here" You smile, giving her a look that says 'i'll tell you later'. She nods and sighs.

"well, what's the plan for today?" She asks. You shrug your shoulders and lean back on the couch. You took a sip of your drink and set it down before focusing on the TV.

You weren't paying attention to it though, you were thinking about how Toji was in a room full of women, with his son right across the hall.

Anything could've happened to him, he's still only a kid. This whole situation with Toji was making you sick to your stomach, is this who he really is? Why do you never attract the good people..

"(Y/N), *inaudible*?" Megumi asks. You break away from your daze and turn to him.

"hm?" You ask.

"you're crying.." He says. You put a hand to your cheek and sure enough, it was wet. You give him a small smile and shrug.

"i don't know" You answer, wiping your eyes. You really didn't know, or did you? The man clearly has no feelings for you. You let him take advantage of you, and in return, he made you feel safe around him.

You should've left him alone like you were going to. You notice the feeling of being watched and look up to find him and Kim looking at you with concerned faces.

"i'm gonna go check on my phone" You sigh. You exit the room and quiet close your bedroom door behind you. First Aiko, now Toji. You just can't catch a break. Maybe Nina was right, you wouldn't mind dating her.

"hey, are you going to sleep?" You hear Kim ask. You don't answer and she sighs. "i'll be out here if you need me then" She adds before closing her door.

It was times like these when you needed a parent to guide you. You're parents couldn't care less about who you dated. And even though your a few people around you told you not to, you wanted to hear it from them.
