Chapter 21

You smile at your lawyer as she spoke on everything you wanted to hear. Kim suggested her to you, she's won a lot of cases for very guilty people apparently.

"based on this video footage and these messages, you can sue for a lot more than you're going for? are you aware?" She asks and you nod.

"i just want things that have clear evidence, i want this to be over with quickly" You shrug.

"okay, so that's just the elevator incident and the photos" She asks and you nod. It was extremely embarrassing to have your photos on the internet like this, no matter how beautiful people were saying you looked.

"well, i'll send these over to the courthouse, and i'll let you know the date and time, any questions?" She asks.

"nope" You answer. She nods and organizes her papers before standing up to leave the office with you. The two of you reached the exit of the building when she caught your attention.

"oh!" You hear and turn to her. "please refrain from talking about this with too many people, and you might want to stay out of sight, you're becoming noticed more" She warns.

"i understand" You say. She flashes you a grin and you head to the limo waiting for you. You sit down and immediately lay across the backseat. You can't remember the last time you had to get up this early.

"tired?" Megumi asks. He has yet to go back with his father. But you assumed that he gave him permission to stay with you. You've been back many times while Toji was out so Megumi could grab more clothes.

"you wouldn't believe it, have you talked to your dad today?" You ask.

"i just text him to say i'm staying another night" He shrugs. It was nice having Megumi around, he was helpful, he helped you cook sometimes and cleaned a lot for you.

"A for effort" You say and he chuckles.

"what did you and the lawyer talk about?" Kim asks.

"there wasn't anything unusual said, she just talked about what i can sue him for and how i should lay low" You answer.

"maybe she'll say more important things once we start the first trial" She replies under her breath.

"well, before this worsens, i'm eating out as much as i can" You say.

"a new buffet opened a few blocks from here" Megumi says, tapping on his phone.

"you know where that is?" Kim asks.

"yes ma'am" The driver answers. Well, hopefully the food is good.

You've probably gotten up 5 times to restock your plate with foods. You've lost count on Megumi though, where does it all go in him..

You were having fun here though, even the driver stayed to eat. He was a cool person, his name was Ruben and he's been chauffeuring for many years now and told a few stories about people he's worked for.

From what you could tell, he seemed like a really nice guy, and since you could only really see the back of his head, you never saw how attractive this middle aged man was. He was a solid 10.

"have you ever thought about modeling?" You ask, studying his face while you wait on an answer.

"haha, nope, seems too stressful" He rubs the back of his neck.

"that's a shame really, but do what makes you happy right?" You reply.

"yep" He grins.

"i need to go walk" Megumi says, leaned back in his chair and holding his stomach.
