"so then he told me to meet him at the diner by our old place" You start. "and the irony of this is the fact that i got the part right after he sent it" You finish. You were explaining everything that happened to kim, skipping the Toji part for now.
"you should've let me kill him like i wanted to long ago" She sighs.
"you wanted to strangle him at the supermarket for not grabbing proper ingredients" You chuckle.
"that's self defense! but he's really irking my nerves now. you know i'm going with y'all to that meeting right?" She says.
"yeah, i wonder if he'll say everything he wants with you there though" You say.
"should i sit at a different table?" She asks.
"yeah, you'll need a disguise though, i'm sure he'd keep an eye out for you" You say and get up. You open one if your duffels and pull out a resealable bag. You pull out a long brown colored wig and present it to kim.
"that's niceee, is that for me?" She asks. You nod and place the cap over her head to see if it fits. It fit perfectly so you started combing and styling it.
It was made of human hair so you weren't worried about it not looking natural on her head. You were supposed to meet with Aiko in 1 hour and that was little time to get ready and reach the diner.
To save time, you have Kim a beanie that matched her outfit, and got yourself ready. You threw on some simple sweats and a hoodie, you didn't feel like dressing up at all today.
You kicked on some slides and put on sunglasses. You knew you weren't famous yet but it's always better safe than sorry.

The establishment was in your vision. While you were walking across the sidewalk, someone ran in front of you.
Out of the corner of your eye you could see then turn their head turn back towards you. You look over to see none other than Liam.
"(Y/N)!" He says, taking out an earbud.
"heyy... Liam" You say.
"i want to apologize formally for that night...and wish you luck on your role! i won't make excuses for that night so if you need anything please just...let me know" He says, panting.
"thanks, did you not get the role?" You ask.
"nope, but it's the consequence of my actions so i'm fine with it. let Toji know i said congrats by the way, i'll see you around" He says.
"alright" He puts his ear piece back and and flashed you a quick nod and closed mouth smile. He runs off and leaves you by the diner doors.
You step into the diner and the smell of bacon and sweetness filled your nostrils. You look around the establishment to find Aiko in a corner area.
He wore a tank top, beige jeans, a nice leather belt, some nikes, and had a dark brown puffers cast aside on the side he rest on.
You slide into the booth and quickly glance at kim right behind him. She was eavesdropping on the conversation while "playing" a game.
"who was that?" Aiko asked without looking up from his menu.
"what did you want to discuss?" You ask flatly. You cross your arms and lean back on the booth.
"straight to the point huh?" He asks. He puts his menu down and rests his elbows on the table. "i want you to make it look like we're dating for 3 weeks." He says.
"this isn't business." You say.
"i have a shoot i want to do in an area where you're well known. they know about your role in Hayashi's movie and want to meet you." He explains.
"this sounds like nothing but benefit on your side, exposure, fame and money." You say.
"well, i have people to impress, and you have a reputation to uphold" He shrugged. He reached to his side and lifted a manila folder from beside him.
He placed it on the table and you glanced down at it. "are these the photos?" You ask. He nods.
"what's in the folder?" You ask.
"most people would open it up" He says.
"well i'm not most people, i'm not touching anything suspicious." You shrug.
"well, the photos are in there, you'll get the flash drive after our... arrangement... is over." He says. He slides out of the booth and does a short stretch. "too bad it's come to this, shouldn't have left me" He says before walking away.
Your felt your eye twitch behind your glasses as you heard the diner door shut. "he gets on all 7 trillion of my nerves." Kim starts. You nod in agreement and hand her the packet.
"this is the drive right?" She asks.
"yeah, by the feel of it, it seems like more than just 3 photos." You say.
"yeah, you sure there's only three he took?" She asks.
"i never believed there to only be three, just wanted to" You admit. You look down at a faint blue stain on the diner table, could be ink from signing a check.
"...we'll do you want to go through with it?" Kim asks.
"it's only 3 weeks, i think i'll survive" You sigh.
"okay (Y/N), if he tried anything i've got your back" Kim assures you give her a short smile and a thankful nod.
The two of you placed a quick order at the diner and ate. When you were done, Kim had to go meet with someone but encouraged you to take your ride back to the hotel.
"i'll be fine Kim, i walked here so i don't mind walking back, it's only 12 minutes" You say.
"if i find out you got hurt, i'll hurt you" She smiled. You chuckled and accepted a hug from her. You waved her goodbye and started your walk down the street.
The sun was setting and the signs were lit. There was rarely a dull area that managed escaping the luminous streets of Tokyo.
The air was humid yet breezy, leaving you comfortable in your clothes. You find an empty bench by a pathway to the park and sit on it.
You look down at your phone and examine the contact log for two specific people.

It's been so long since last (i've seen my son lost to this monsterrr💃🏽💃🏽) you've called them. They never supported your decisions one you hit puberty.
They believed that they needed to tame you and keep you in their shadows at all times. Like they needed to prove to you and themselves that they would always be superior to you.
You'd respected them with all of your heart and continued to do so until they attempted to crush your dreams.
Every since you left for college, you've been waiting on a call from them to their only child. You chewed on your lip as you felt yourself tear up.
You take a deep breath and keep the tears from falling. You stand up and continue to walk to the hotel.
