Surprised was an understatement for how your felt when you saw Toji rush through your bedroom door. You could've sworn that Kim and Megumi would've left him outside.
Initially, he didn't say a word. Just looked at you with concern as you sniffled. "i didn't expect you to actually come.." You choke out.
"well, i didn't come empty handed" He says before holding up a bag. He walks over and sets it in front of you, it was your favorite meal. "oh.. i love this food, thanks" You give a small smile and he relaxed a bit. "you can sit there" You point to your nearby vanity chair. It was kind of awkward in the room with only you eating. You could tell that he was doing his best to avoid staring at you.
"so... why is that your favorite?" He asks.
"it's because (reason), it's been my favorite since then" You answer.
"that's interesting"
"not really" You shrug.
"it is, because it's you" He leans forward, resting his head on his hand.
"mm" You hum. "what's really interesting is whatever you're wearing" You joke. He had on a dark blue hoodie with a rubber duck picture in the chest area, a pair of dark green cargos, socks and sandals, and a white ball cap.
"which one of us are here in the middle of the night to comfort the other?" He raises an eyebrow
" i'll let you get away with it... for now."
You finish the food and throw it in your trash can. Now the room was quiet once more. You decided to turn in the TV, maybe a movie would help.
"(Y/N)." Toji calls.
"Toji." You turn.
"how are you feeling right now?"
"hm.. I'd say anxious, tired, upset, and full" You tap your chin.
"have you gotten in contact with aiko?"
"oh of course not, he's has no balls" You scoff.
"is there anything i can do to help?" His voice was soft.
"you could answer a question for me" You state.
"sure thing"
"why do you go out of your way to make me feel special, Toji? Stop wasting time and money" You keep your eyes on the television screen.
"well, for starters, i'm not wasting anything, on you. it's all worth while."
"see, when you say stuff like that, i makes people think ' wow! this guy really likes me', only for you to sleep around without a care in the world" You sigh. " just wanted to say, in case you didn't know, i don't want to be your toy anymore."
You finally turn to him, and you've probably never seen a more guilty/sorry look on a person. His face was apologizing to you nonstop, but he was quiet.
You shake your head and turn your attention back to the TV.
"i wasn't always like this, (Y/N)" He starts. He stood up and grabs the remote from you, turning off the TV.
He kneeled by your bed and rested his elbows on your comforter.
" before i was a big celebrity that 'has a new girl everyday' as everyone says, i was just Toji. i was kind, funny, loving, and virgin, Toji." He chuckled.
You stretch the covers over yourself and turn your body to him.
"during my second year in college, i was met by a woman one day while walking. from when i first laid eyes on her, i was already pulled in. i felt compelled to get her attention."
