Your legs were so sensitive, it felt like you were in the beginning stages of pins and needles.
"i wish you'd told us you had to go sooner, (Y/N)! we'd planned a dinner for the teams" J says.
"sorry, it slipped my mind. i'll definitely be around any other time though" You smile. All of this Aiko business just made you miss out on free food? Yeah he's gonna have to pay up.
"it's fine, there will be other times. you have a nice meeting though, we'll see you soon!" He smiles.
"bye, sorry again" You say. He waved you off and you begin walking towards the elevator. The ride is silent with the exception of the the of sign representing the changing floor. The door open up and you quickly walk Aiko to the exit.
You reach the car out front and Aiko opens the door for you. You let go of his arm and sit down. He closed the door and you instantly feel relief throughout your body. You put on your seatbelt and rest your head against the back of the passenger seat.
"are you okay, miss (Y/N)?" The driver asks.
"yes, i'm great actually" You answer with a genuine grin. You pull your phone out and quickly activate the voice recording app. He nods and Aiko's door opens. He sits down i the car and huffs.
"you can go, Benson" He says with an attitude to the driver.
"don't be rude about it" you say under your breath.
"what?" He asks.
"i said don't be rude about it" You speak up.
"he works for ME i can treat him how i want" He shrugs. There's something actually wrong with him. It's odd, it's new.

The car door to your side opens and Aiko is standing there with a light smile. You say bye to Benson and take his hand as you get out.
The two of you walk right past the front desk and into an elevator. As it goes to the top floor, you look at the city through the clear glass.
"when we get in there, don't say too much. they're easy people to please. you're not even famous so i'm not sure why your presence is so necessary." He you look over and he rolls his eyes.
"excuse me?" You ask. Irritation slowly beginning to build up. He was pushing you to your limit. "Aiko, let me make this clear. I'm here for myself and myself ONLY. you're on your own." You say. The doors slide open and Aiko steps out.
You follow behind him, occasionally speaking to someone. He brings the two of you to a set of large frosted glass doors.
He opens one door and signals for you to walk in first. You walk in and look around the area. It's spacious and smells clean.
"this was" Aiko says aiming ahead with an arm. You walk in the direction to find a large rectangular table. There were about 9 men sitting at the table, one at the end and an empty seat at the other end. You assumed that's where Aiko was supposed to sit.
"welcome! you're right in time, could you please get miss (Y/N) a seat?" The man at the opposite end of the table says to who you assumed was his assistant.
