Chapter 3

Later after Michael and Ashton went home it was just me and Calum.
"I'm sorry that Luke did that to you." Calum said quietly.
"Calum it's not your fault." I said. I looked at him. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"I just hate how he bully's you so much and all I do is make it worse."
"No you don't Calum. I promise you don't." He looked up at me. It was silent. "We should get some sleep." He nodded.
"You sure you're fine with sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor?"
"That's what I always do when I spend the night." I said and I got up and turned off the light before I got into it.
"Goodnight Jennifer." Calum said.
"Goodnight Calum." I smiled even though he couldn't see it. I closed my eyes and I soon fell asleep.
I woke up screaming from my dream. Calum got out of bed and got down next to me.
"Jennifer are you ok?!" He asks.
"Yeah." I said looking around the room. "Just a bad dream." I told him looking at him.
"Ok." He said. He got up and was about to get back into bed.
"Calum?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I sleep with you?" I asked.
"Yeah. Yeah you can." He said nodding. I got up and got in bed then he got in beside me. "I'm guessing that he was in it." I nodded. "Come here." He said and I got closer to him and he put his arm over me pulling me in close. I smiled and snuggled up against him falling asleep with the smile still on my face.

Monday. I got up and got ready for school. I walked up to the bus stop early hoping that Luke wouldn't be walking out of his house. When I got there Ashton smiled and gave me a small hug.
"Did you run into Luke anymore this weekend?"
"Luckily no." I said then Michael and Calum came up with Luke not far behind.
"Touch her and you're dead!" Michael said standing in front of me. Luke smirked at him and said something under his breath. The bus came and Calum and I sat next to each other.

"Shit!" Michael said when we were at our lockers. "I didn't do my math homework!" I held in my laugh. The math teacher this year is the same one that was the math teacher last year. He hates Michael and Michael made a promise that he would make it so he didn't have a reason to. "Is it possible I can copy off of you Jenny?" He asked.
"Why me?"
"Because you're the best at math out of the 4 of us."
"You are." Calum said closing his locker.
"You'll be lucky if I let you next time" I sigh handing him my homework.
"There won't be a next time." He smiled and we walked to 1st period.

Later at lunch Ashton and Michael joined Calum and me at our lonely table.
"You guys are going to sit here?" I asked.
"Yeah." Michael said as they sat down. "Why can't we sit with our new friends?" Ashton smiled and Calum and I smiled back.
"Hey everyone look at the new girl!" Someone yelled band everyone looked over at the new freshman. "What's your name?" He asked trying to sound nice.
"Isabelle but my friends call me Belle."
"Well let's see if this bell rings." He said and he pulled her by her hair making her fall out of her seat and onto the floor hitting her head hard. She screamed. Anger raged through me. Calum did a double take looking at me.
"No Jennifer don't you dare!" He said but it was too late. I got up and went over to him.
"Hey!" I yelled. "Leave the poor girl alone!"
"And what are you going to do about it?" He smirked. The girl got out of his grip and hid behind me.
"Just leave her alone fucker!"
"You're going to regret saying that!" He yelled and he pushed me to the floor.
"Hey!" Someone yelled. They sounded familiar but it wasn't Ashton, Michael, or Calum. "Stop!" Someone helped me up and when I looked at them it was Luke.
"Ooh you like her! Luke likes her!"
"No I don't! I said stop because she's mine!" He said and he pushed me back down and kicked me. Michael came over and soon there was a huge fight between the 3 boys.
