Chapter 16

Calum's POV.

"Guys nobody knows where Jennifer is!" I burst into Ashton's house. Michael and him looked at me confused. "Jennifer's gone!"
"Where did she go?" Michael asked.
"Nobody knows!" I was worried about her.
"Ok guys, we've known her for how long now? Where would Jennifer go if she was acting like this?" Ashton asked.
"Probably the forest so nobody could see her." Michael shrugged.
"Let's go." I said and they got shoes and running into the forest behind her house with me.

After half an hour of nonstop running then walking we found Luke.
"What the hell are you guys doing?" He asked. "First Jennifer now you guys?" We looked at each other then Michael pinned him to a tree.
"Where did he go?!"
"I don't know! I saw her last night, it's not like I was following her out of curiosity."
"Luke, you're such a bad lier." I shook my head.
"You better lead us to where she is!" Ashton yelled.
"What's my reward?"
"Um us not killing you." Michael said.

Soon Luke was leading us to where Jennifer apparently was.
"She fell asleep right up here." Luke pointed up a tree. Then we heard a stick break and we saw her. We ran after her and she ran away.
"Jennifer!!" I yelled. We caught up to her and Michael grabbed her bag.
"Go away!" Jennifer yelled putting an arrow in her bow. We all held our hands up in surrender. "I ran away for a reason! Not for you guys to come and find me!" She yelled at us. I started to slowly walk towards her and she pointed her now at me. "Calum get back!" She said but I didn't listen. "I don't wanna kill you with this arrow!" She said then I grabbed her bow and arrow.
"And you wouldn't." I said. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. She started to cry and she hugged me tight. I hugged her back and the three of them looked at me shocked. "Jennifer what were you thinking?" I asked calmly. She didn't answer she just continued to cry. Michael took her bow and arrows and Ashton took her bag. I picked her up bridal style and she silently cried as we all walked back.

We got to my house and went up to my room. I set her on my bed and pulled over a stool. I sat across from her and she didn't look up at any of us. I put my hands on her thighs and when she looked up I kissed her.
"Now," I calmly started, "we're going to figure out what's happening to you, if we have to bribe you we will."
"With what?" She barely whispered.
"Anything it will take." I shook my head. Ashton and Michael sat on both sides of her and she didn't look up at us. "First let's see what's in your bag." I said and Ashton handed me her bag. I emptied it saying all the things she had.
"Nothing bad that's good." Michael said.
"Now, tell us why you got the thought of running away." Ashton said. She started to cry and I kissed her again.
"Ok she's not gonna want just kisses." Michael said.
"I know, what do you want?" I asked.
"Do I have to say?" She choked.
"Want all of us to do it?" I asked with a small smile. She looked at me.
"All of us to do what?" Ashton asked. I took off my shirt and Ashton and Michael looked at each other. They sighed and did the same making Jennifer's face go a little red.
"Now, why did you get the thought of running away?" I asked.
"Nobody...cares." She choked.
"Aw! We care Jennifer."
"If you cared you would of asked if you guys could help."
"Jennifer we don't ask, we do." Michael said.
"Well I didn't feel like you 'did' I felt like you forced."
"What made us make you think that?" Ashton asked.
"Remember that time in the girls bathroom?" She asked and we all but our lips. "You make me get this, Calum." She said lifting her bangs to show a cut.
"Aw. I'm so sorry Jennifer." I frowned. Michael cuffed her cheeks in his hands and made her look at him. He smiled then kissed the cut.
"Kisses make it feel better." He whispered. She barely smiled at him.
"I'm sorry I ran away." She whispered.
"You're back and safe, that's all that matters." I smiled. She hugged Ashton then Michael and hugged me giving me a kiss.
"Want anything else?" Ashton asked.
"I don't wanna go home. I wanna cuddle. I wanna know I'm loved."
"You can stay here tonight." I told her.
"We can all maybe all snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie." Michael said.
"How can we show you that we love you?" Ashton asked. Jennifer shrugged. "Nice answer." He giggled.
"Let's go watch a movie." I smiled getting up. Michael and Ashton got up and we looked at Jennifer.
"Can I wear something of yours, Calum? I need a clean shirt."
"Yeah go ahead look in my closet." She got up and gasped when she found something. She pulled out my gray sweater and grinned. "You can wear it." I giggled.
"I don't have a tank top under this so can you guys step out?" We got out of my room and closed the door. A minute later she came back out and we went down into the basement. Jennifer sat next to me and I smiled putting my arm over her shoulders.
"Just a random question," Michael started, "what exactly are you guys?" He pointed to us. Jennifer and I looked at each other.
"We wouldn't be mad if you dated." Ashton smiled.
"What do you think Jennifer?" I asked.
"Ask and you'll find out." She smiled.
"Jennifer? Will you go out with me?" I asked.
"Yes I will Calum." She smiled kissing me on the cheek.
"Aw." Ashton smiled.
"What do you want to watch babe?" I asked Jennifer.
"Can we watch If I Stay?"
"Yeah we can." I said and I put it on.

After the movie Michael and Ashton went home and it was just me and Jennifer.
"Now what?" She asked.
"Can I do something real quick?"
"Yeah." She said then I kissed her long and deep. We separated and she smiled blushing. "Hey you believe me right? Even when I sound crazy?"
"You're crazy anyways." I giggled.
"Remember when you said that you felt a cold breeze on only your lips?"
"Cold touch." I corrected her.
"Yeah, that was me."
"Huh?"
"When I was in the hospital I was dreaming about what you guys were doing. Michael walked through me that's why it was so cold in one small spot. I was there. And I thought that if I was dead I would do something I always wanted to do. So I kissed you." She said.
"How though?"
"I don't know. You just felt it somehow."
"Ok moving on." I smiled. "Upstairs?" I asked. She nodded and I picked her up bridal style before she could get up.
"Calum you don't have to carry me!" She giggled.
"Too late." I smiled kissing her cheek. I carried her up to my room and I closed the door. I set her down on the bed and got in next to her after turning off the lights. "Good night Calum." She smiled.
"Good night Jennifer." I returned it. I wrapped my arm around her pulling her in close. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.
