Song in title- Slipping Through My Fingers by ABBA

As Zane disappeared beneath the surface, I stood at the edge of the deck, eyes fixed on the water in anticipation.

"He's actually gonna do it," I gasped in astonishment, clapping my hands excitedly. Moments later, he resurfaced, water cascading off his face.

I rushed forward to help Zane back onto the deck, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Zane, you're just... wow!"

Zane grinned, still catching his breath. "It's a good thing, right?"

"Yes, Zane, it's a good thing," I laughed along with him, feeling a surge of pride for his achievement. I removed my hand to give him space, but my smile remained wide.

"Amazing!" Cole exclaimed, stepping forward to give Zane a hearty pat on the back as I had done.

"We're not worthy," Jay commented with a dramatic bow, earning a chuckle from all of us.

"I broke the record?" Zane asked, disbelief and excitement mingling in his voice.

"You destroyed it!" Kai replied enthusiastically, his admiration clear.

"Okay, okay. Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? We've been training for so long, I don't think we can get any better. Just think about all we've accomplished," Jay pointed out, his tone reflective as he glanced around at each of us.

I joined in his reflection, recalling Kai's fearless run across hot coals, Jay's incredible balance during a lightning storm, Cole's impressive strength feat, and my own mastery of elemental control, waving at bystanders from within a swirling sand tornado.

"The question should be raised. Perhaps we have reached our full potential?" Jay pondered aloud as we turned towards the Destiny's Bounty, making our way inside to find Sensei Wu.

Cole took the lead, opening the door to Sensei Wu's room. As we entered, a palpable sense of anticipation hung in the air. We gathered around Sensei Wu, our faces reflecting a mixture of curiosity and respect, waiting for his response.

"Sensei, what does True Potential look like if—"

Our voices trailed off as we noticed Sensei Wu meticulously placing a katana back into its stand, his serene expression giving away nothing of the wisdom he held.

"Our apologies, Sensei. We've interrupted you," Zane spoke up diplomatically.

Sensei Wu sighed softly, his expression carrying a weight of concern. "I'm sorry if I've been distant lately. My mind has been elsewhere since Lloyd has gone missing. What can I help you with?"

I couldn't shake the feeling of remorse as my thoughts drifted back to Lloyd, still feeling the weight of that day heavily on my heart.

"Sensei, what if we've done enough training? What if we've reached our True Potential? What if we're ready?" Cole questioned earnestly, his voice echoing our collective uncertainty.

"Hm," Sensei Wu pondered for a moment, his eyes scanning each of us thoughtfully. "You might have reached peak physical condition, but you've yet to reach your inner potential. In each and every one of us, there are obstacles that hold us back. Only when you conquer that fear will your heart be free. Only then will you reach your True Potential. Only then will we have a fighting chance to stop the Serpentine from releasing the Great Devourer," Sensei Wu educated us with his trademark wisdom.
