To the person you use to be,

I miss the old you.

I miss listening to every single one of Jewel's CDs.

I miss the messy buns and America's Next Top Model marathons.

I miss going with you everywhere, whether it was the grocery store or a trip to California.

I miss being so excited to see you.

I miss being able to trust you.

I miss your advice and the long phone calls whenever I needed you.

I miss the person you use to be.

I miss enjoying your loud laugh and huge smile.

I miss the closeness that only two sisters can feel.

I miss so much about the person that you use to be.
When you changed as a person it didn't just change you, it changed me.
Your changes rippled out like rings in a lake after skipping rocks.
You changed the dynamics of our family.
You changed us from the tight-knit community to a tightly sealed group of secret keepers.

You changed me.
You changed me into a closed off person with stone built walls protecting my heart.
Your changes changed everything.

Sincerely,

The new me
