Rileys POV
I opened my eyes and looked around. Colton was looking things up on his laptop, clearly focused on whatever he was doing. I crawled over to him and laid my head on his shoulder. He closed his lap top and grabbed my waist, while kissing my lips softly. "Good morning princess." I smiled up at him. "Morning." I checked my Instagram. Holy shit!
I looked down at my notifications. I had ten thousand new followers. "Colton look at this." He chuckled and shrugged. "You're my soon to be wife, you'll be pretty popular." I laughed lighlty and snuggled closer. "I still can't believe how far we've come Colton." He brushed my hair out of my face. "I know. It's crazy. I wish Noah was with us." I bit down on my bottom lip.
"We could always try. You know after your tours and after our wedding and yeah, we could always try." Colton looked down at me and frowned playfully. "I don't want to share you." His bottom lip was poking out and I placed a light kiss on it. "Aww, you poor little baby." He stuck his tongue out at me.
I lighlty laughed and got up off of the bed. "I am having a girls day with Victoria while you go record you new song." He smiled and nodded at me. "Going to look a wedding dresses?" I bit my lip and nodded. He winked at me. "Be sure to get something nice to wear under it for me." I grabbed a teddy bear off of the night stand and chucked it at him. "You pervert!"
He chuckled. "You wouldn't love me any other way." I smiled to myself knowing that it was true. Every inch of his being, inside and out, I am in love with. I have been for the past four years and nothing can ever change that. I walked downstairs, lightly humming as I did.
I poured myself some hot chocolate and lightly sipped on it. I looked around at the apartment, loving every bit of it. Colton had done such an amazing job with it. I smiled as he came down the stairs in his sweat pants, which were dangerously low. His body had become more defined over the years as well.
He walked over to me and took a drink of my hot chocolate. "Mmm, you make the best hot chocolate in the whole world." I scrunched my nose up and sat on the counter. He placed his lips on mine, kissing me slowly. I bit down on his lip lightly, causing him to chuckle against my lips. "Little shit."
"You wouldn't love me any other way."

"So do you want just a white dress?" Victoria asked me as we walked though David's Bridal. "Yeah but I want it to be flowly and tame not like big and poofy." She held up one to show me. "You could get this one." It was decent but not what I wanted.
This went on for about two hours. She would hold up a dress, asking if it's what I wanted and I would simply reply with no. So as of right now, I was sitting in Shane's living room along with Jake and Hector. "You should let us go with you guys next time. We may look all manly, but we know how to do dirty work when it comes to shopping." Hector said which only caused me to laugh. "Alright, alright. Next time we go looking, you can come with us."
Shane took a long drink of his beer, before looking at me. "You know, I honesty thought you and Colton would've been the first to get married out of all of us." I shrugged. "Well its happening. I'm surprised that none of you guys have kids yet." Shane lightly chuckled. "We are to young for kids." I shook my head. "I was going to have one at the age of eighteen, don't tell me you're to young." I said with light laughter at the end to make it less serious.
"Riley, you have the perfect life." I shook my head. "I don't get to see Colton as much as I used to. This is his second week back and he is already in the recording studio." They looked at me sympathetically.
"Guys I'm fine, I promise." I gave them a smile and looked down at my phone.
Hey princess, almost done recording. I will see you in a bit. I love you lots Riley. -Colton xx
I smiled down at my phone and texted him back.
I love you more Colton. -Princess xx
"We should watch a movie." Victoria said, already putting in a movie. The switched off the lights, and got comfy. Jake and Hector were cuddling, Victoria was in Shane's lap. I know I had Colton, but I felt lonely. My fiance isn't here with me.
As the movie started playing, I heard a soft knock on the door. Since no one was paying attention, I quickly got up and opened it. I opened it and wrapped my arms around Coltons neck. He lightly chuckled and nuzzled his head in my neck. "Come on let's go watch the movie."
We sat down on the couch, him pulling me into his arms. I rested my hand on his and smiled to myself.
Not even five minutes later, his phone rang. "It's Scott." He whispered. I sighed, leaning forward. Shane looked over at me and clenched his jaw. It's not Coltons fault.
I chewed the inside of my lip and walked onto the patio where Colton was on the phone. I wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him. He unwrapped my arms from around him and walked inside. I took a deep breath and looked down at my hands.
Why was he pushing me away? I sat down at the table that was out here and closed my eyes. I heard the door open then close. I looked up and saw Jake. "Hey Riles. I saw him do that." He whispered. I shook my head and shrugged. "It's uh fine. Don't worry about it." He rolled his eyes at me.
"I don't care if he is your fiance, your boyfriend, your gay best friend, your friend, I don't care what he is. If he hurts you, you already know Shane and I have got your back Riley." He said in all seriousness. I gave him a light smile. "Thanks, let's go back inside." Jake stood up and opened the door for me to walk in before he followed behind me.
When we walked inside, Colton was still no where to be seen. I walked into the kitchen and saw he wasn't on the phone anymore. "Hey princess." I looked up at him. "Hey." He frowned at me. "What's wrong?" I shook my head. "Riley don't lie to me."
I sighed and looked him in the eye. "What was that outside? You were gone for half the year, you've only been back for two weeks and I have only seen you about half the time, or you're on the phone with Scott. Then when I walked outside, you pulled my hands from around your waist and walked inside. I just feel like I'm being pushed away."
Colton walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Let's go home and talk about this please." I nodded and walked out to the living room to say my goodbyes.
The drive home was silent, except for the soft music playing in the background.
I sat down on the couch and held my head in my hands. "You really feel like I'm pushing you away?" He looked at me with sadness, and sorrow written on his face. "I just miss you." He sat down next to me, pulling me in his arms. "I'm sorry baby. I miss you." He hugged me tight and just held me for awhile.
"Next time please tell me when these things are bothering you. I want to continue to take care of you."
"I will Colton I promise."
