Rileys POV
Colton walked around the side of the car and opened my door. I stepped out and instantly moving into Coltons side. He wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked towards Jakes house. We stood on the doorstep, ringing the doorbell. Jake apperead in the doorway and had tears on his face.
I let go of Colton and hugged my oldest brother tight. We just stood there, hugging for about two minutes. I let go of him and grabbed Coltons hand. We walked into the house. In the living room sat Victoria, Shane, and Hector.
I have never seen Shane so vulnerable. His eyes were bloodshot, his eyes were droopy, his hair was messy, and he just looked empty. My poor brother. Colton kissed the top of my head. "Go with your brothers." I nodded and walked over to Shane.
Victoria stood up, pulling me into a bone crushing, yet comforting hug. When she let go, I sat down next to Shane, taking in his presence. "Shane?" My voice came out rugged and raspy.
He looked over at me and began sobbing. He laid his head on my shoulder while I hugged him. Jake came over to us, hugging the both of us. "We will be okay guys. We have each other, we have dad. We still have our family." Jake said softly. He paused for a moment.
"She was a wonderful person that didn't deserve what happened to her." I sobbed along with Shane. I looked up and saw Colton staring at us, tears threatening his own eyes. I motioned for him to come over here but he shook his head. I nodded, telling him that he needed to come over here.
His phone rang and he answered it, turning his back muttering a 'What Scott'. I sighed and pulled away from my brothers. "I'll be right back guys."
I walked behind Colton. "Scott, I can't leave right now. A family problem has come up and I can't leave my family at a time like this." I ever so lighlty smiled to myself.
"Scott I will call you when I'm not busy." He hung up and turned around. He saw me and pulled me into a hug. I looked down, watching my tears hit the tiled floor. Colton tilted my chin up so I was looking at him. "Go back in there with your brothers. They need you." I looked up at him and planted a soft kiss on his lips. "And we need you." I told him softly before walked back towards my brothers.
I heard Coltons footsteps behind me.
I sat down on the couch and looked around the room. "We should go out and celebrate mom's life. She wouldn't want us to be like this." Victoria nodded in agreement, as well as, Hector, Jake, and Colton. Shane didn't say anything.
I walked over to him. "Shane, come on. Mom wouldn't want to see you like this." He nodded and walked over to Victoria. I texted her that way Shane didn't hear me.
Make sure he takes a nap and eats something before we go out, other wise he won't feel to good.

I shoved my phone in my pocket and wiped away my tears. Unfortunately they kept flowing out of me like Niagara Falls.
We said our goodbyes and headed home.
As we drove home, I looked at the beach. The sun was beginning to set, causing the sky to be a beautiful pink, blue, and gold color. The waves rolling into the shore. My mother loved sunsets.
I closed my eyes and leaned my head back. "Are you good princess?" I nodded my head. "I will be." He placed his hand on my knee, gently squeezing, reassuring me that things would be okay. I placed my hand on his and closed my eyes for the rest of the drive home.
He pulled into our parking spot, shutting off the car. I got out and headed towards the stairs to our apartment. I felt the need to throw up.
I rushed to our door, unlocking it and running in the bathroom. I threw up everything that I had eaten today. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against my hands. When was my period last?
