Coltons POV
Our honeymoon week was now over and I was walking Riley towards her birthday surprise. "Can you uncover my eyes?" I chuckled. "Not yet. Patience princess." She sighed. I helped her up some steps and unlocked the front door. I uncovered her eyes and Victoria, Shane, Jake, and Hector jumped out. "SURPRISE!"
Riley smiled and looked around. "Thank you guys so much." She walked around a bit, looking at the furniture. "Whose house is this?" I smiled. "Surprise." Her mouth dropped open. "You bought us a friggin house?" I gave her a sheepish smile. She ran to me, jumping into my arms.
Her hands were clinging around my neck and her legs around my waist. I hugged her. "I still have to go get some stuff from our old apartment but we are moved in." Everyone walked into the kitchen except Riley and I. "Do you want to see our baby's room?" She nodded. I carried her upstairs to the babies room.
"It's blank." She said, climbing off of me. "I know. When we find out the sex of our baby, you can paint it how ever you want." She smiled, placing a soft kiss to my lips. "Thank you Colton." I smiled, wrapping an arm around her neck, pulling her into my side. "No need to thank me baby girl."
"Everyone is waiting." She whispered. I smiled. "I know. You get to go look around and I will go out there with the others." She nodded, placing a soft kiss on my lips again. I smiled and headed downstairs to help Shane set up the gifts, while Hector finished up the cake. "Colton, you give her the world." Shane said. I smiled to myself. "She is my world."
Shane patted my back. "You've done good. Thank you for being good to her." I smiled, not sure what to say. "Guys she's coming." Victoria said and rushed to light the candles. We began singing happy birthday when she walked in. She looked at all of us with love in her eyes. Her eyes got watery. "Thank you guys so much. Do you guys know how much I fucking love you?" She gave each one of them a hug.
When she walked over to me, I took her face in my hands and placed a big kiss on her lips. When I pulled away, she smiled. "I love you." She said before turning away from me. "Let's do presents before we eat cake." I smiled and handed her the one from Shane first. Shane smiled at her. She began tearing the wrapping paper up, throwing a little ball of it on the floor. She opened the box that was wrapped inside of it and smiled.
She pulled out two shirts. A shirt that said mommy to be. Then she handed me one which said daddy to be. She teared up and hugged Shane. "Thank you." He smiled. "Love you sis." She smiled. "Love you to." I held the shirt up and smiled. I'm going to be a parent.
Riley opened her next gift, which was from Jake and Hector. It was film for her Polaroid along with a new sweater. Victoria handed her a gift and smiled. "I hope you like it." She opened the little box and saw a little charm. "It's a best friend charm to put on your bracelet." Riley smiled and clipped it on her charm bracelet. "Thank you guys so much."
She went around giving everyone hugs.
My phone rang.
I walked out to the living room and answered my phone. "Hello?"
"Colton, your album is being released in two days. You have interviews." I sighed. "Can't I just have a little more time with my family?" Scott let out a frustrated sigh. "I've already given you lots of time. Be at the recording studio at nine tomorrow for a radio interview. If you're not there, it makes you look bad." With that he hung up. I shook my head and looked up and saw Riley leaning in the door way. "Are you okay?" I shrugged. She walked over to me, sitting down in my lap.
"Scott is mean. I'm going to make him babysit for us." I chuckled and leaned my forehead on hers, my nose lightly brushing against hers. I heard a camera click and I looked up and saw Hector holding a camera. "Alright I'll leave now." He said with a little laugh. Riley lightly laughed. She went quiet for a second. "Wanna know what's funny?" I rose my eyebrows, waiting for her to continue. "We are all brothers and sisters in laws."
I smirked. "So I'm your brother in law?" She slapped my chest. "You know what I mean." I nodded. "Yeah, I do." Everyone came in the living room and said their goodbyes.
"So, Scott has me doing radio interviews tomorrow. Wanna come?" She shrugged. "Sure." She laid her head on my chest. "I can't believe you bought us a house." I smiled. "Which reminds me. I have one more thing for you." I picked her up bridal style.
I carried her to our new bedroom and laid her down on the bed. I handed her the other present. She smiled and opened it. She started laughing. She held up the book. "It's Papertowns. Such a great book." I held my hand up. "I don't want to hear you babble about a book." She smiled. "I love you." I leaned forward placing a tender kiss on her lips. "I love you."
She laid down on our bed, snuggling into the pillows. I crawled up next to her. I lined her neck with soft kisses. She turned and faced me. "So is there any cool things or places in the house I don't know about?" She asked, now placing kisses against my neck. I lightly laughed. "Actually, yeah." She smiled and placed a kiss on my lips.
I stood up motioning her to jump on my back. She jumped on me, her legs wrapping around my waist and her arms around my neck. I pulled down the ladder to the attic, climbing up it with Riley still on my back. When we got up there, I set her down and opened a window that led to the roof.
I looked back at her, smiling. "Let's go." I began crawling out of the window. The roof was flat on this part so we could stand or sit. Riley smiled.
"If I ever disappear, check up here." I chuckled and pulled her into my side. "Riley, do you know how happy I am, that I started a life with you?" She nodded. "I am beyond excited and happy that we are going to have a life together." She leaned in, kissing my lips softly. I took her face in my hands, running my thumb against her cheek gently.
She pulled away, smiling at me. "I was thinking about Noah the other day. I was wondering how different things would be today." I looked down at my lap. "I think things would've been a lot different." She laid her head on my shoulder. "I was thinking of Nicholas for a boys name." I chuckled. "You're so sure it's going to be a boy." She shrugged. "I feel like it's going to be a boy." I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Okay." Her phone rang and she quickly picked it up.
"Hello?" She put her phone on speaker. "Hi, is this Mrs. Black?" She smiled. "Yes, this is her." I smirked at her. "Oh my god! I can't believe I'm talking to Colton Blacks wife." I chuckled. "Hi Lou, hi corrie." The two went quiet. "How'd you know it was us?" Riley smiled. "We know everything you little turds." I smiled at her. "We just called to say we miss you guys." Riley smiled sadly. "We miss you to." After talking with them for a little bit, we were off of the phone and now cuddling in our bed.
The doorbell was rung. I quickly ran downstairs and opened the door.
"Aunt Vivian?"
