Colton's POV
As soon as she said it, I scrambled around and grabbed the bag. "I will have Janice help you get downstairs. I am going to go pull the car around." She nodded, taking deep breaths. I placed a kiss on her forehead before rushing to Janice's rooms. I knocked on her door crazily. Right when she opened it, I spoke.
"The baby is coming, help Riley downstairs. I'm pulling the car around." I didn't even let her start talking; I just rushed away.
As I ran to the car, with the bag, I called Shane. "Hey Colton what's up?" I struggled to talk due to the loss of breath due to my running. "Riley's water broke. Our baby is on the way. Okay gotta go." I quickly hung up and unlocked the car that was provided for us and turned it on, basically speeding to the front of the hotel.
I slammed on the breaks outside of the entrance and ran back inside to help Janice with Riley. Luckily, they were already right there. "Thank you Janice." She smiled and nodded. Now that I was by Riley's side, she rushed to the car door to open it for Riley. "Come on princess." She squeezed my hand as another painful contraction rolled through. "Holy shit!" I ran over to the drivers side and pulled away and sped to the closest hospital.
"I'm sorry princess, we are almost there. Hang in there." Her breaths were heavier and long. Then she yelled. "I just want our little baby to be out already."

Right now she was laying in the bed, eating ice chips and holding my hand. The doctor had given her an epidural not long ago. "When the hell can I start pushing! This is very fucking painful!"
The doctor came in with other ladies behind him. He looked down between her legs and nodded at me. "She can start pushing." Riley didn't waste a minute. She leaned forward a little bit and pushed as hard as she possibly could. "Colton! I'm never letting you touch me again!" I couldn't help but smile at her. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "You're doing so good princess."
"We're almost there Riley, keep pushing."

An hour later, our baby was in a little bundle of blankets in Riley's arms. "Hi baby." Riley whispered, gently caressing our little ones cheek. "I love you very much." Riley placed a soft kiss on our baby before looking up at me. "Want to hold our baby?" I nodded. "Let's pick a name first." Riley looked down.
"I was thinking Nova Hope Black." That was a beautiful name for our beautiful daughter. "That's beautiful." She handed me our precious little daughter. I gently rocked her back and forth. "Riley, we are parents." Tears filled my eyes and Riley's. "I know." I lightly sang to Nova.
Riley looked up at me with love in her eyes. "You are going to be such a good dad." I smiled. "You will be an amazing mommy. Won't she Nova?" Nova began shuffling around, readjusting herself.
There was a knock on the door and in came the doctor. "I just came in to take the little one for her check ups. What did you name her?" I handed him our baby and smiled. "Nova." He smiled. "That's a beautiful name." Riley smiled. "Thank you." The doctor set the baby down in one of those little carts with the little beds.
I leaned down and placed a tender kiss on Riley's lips. "You did it princess." She grabbed my hand. "We did it." I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Get some rest. You look like shit." She smiled. "There's the Colton I know and love." She whispered before closing her eyes.
Riley was still sleeping when the doctor came back in. "You're the father, correct?" I nodded, and stood up by him. "That's correct. Is there a problem?" I asked worriedly. "Since your daughter was born about a month early, we would like to keep you guys here for a couple of days just to monitor her to see if she will be okay. She is doing great right now and when you guys want, you can come and see her. We've placed her in a incubator in the nursery." I nodded. "Thank you."
I sat back down in the chair and made a call to Shane. He answered right away. "Hey! Did everything go good? Is Riley okay?" I lightly chuckled. "Yeah she is sleeping now but we won't be on a flight home for a couple of days. Which I'm worried because, who wants to take their newborn on a plane? I'm hoping that maybe we can get a private jet on the way back, so Riley and Nova will be comfortable."
"Yeah, that would be best. So you named her Nova. That sounds like Noah." I chuckled. "That's the point Shane. Her middle name is Hope because she gave us hope, she's our little miracle." I could tell Shane was smiling due to his silence. "I can't believe I'm an uncle Colton. You guys did good." I looked over at Riley.
"We sure as hell have. I will call you later with an update. Love you bro." I heard Victoria in the background say something about our bromance. "Love you to man." I ended the call and slid my phone in my back pocket. I looked up at Riley. She looked so serene, it was unbelievable. She even had a hint of a little smile on her face.
About an hour later, Riley way awake and wondering about Nova. I had told her about what doctor said. "I want my baby." I smiled. "We can go down to the nursery. She probably needs to be fed anyways." She smiled and stood up. "Uh. My whole body is sore." I walked outside and came back in the room with a wheel chair. "Come on." She sat down in it. "Thank you pretty boy." I chuckled at my nickname. "You're welcome my princess."
I pushed her down to the nursery room. Once we got inside, we both rubbed hand sanitizer on our hands and wrists before walking over to Nova. "She is so beautiful." Riley whispered. Nova opened her eyes and stared at us. "She has your eyes, and my wavy hair." She was a newborn and she already hand a lot of hair. "She'll probably inherit your sarcasm." I smirked. "You know it. But she will probably have your kindness."
A nurse walked over to us. "Good evening. Is this your little one?" Riley nodded. "Yeah she is." The lady smiled. "Well first off, congrats. Second, if you don't mind coming over there to that chair with your baby, I have to teach you how to breast feed." I walked over to Nova an gently picked her up. "Hi my baby girl. Are you hungry?" She stared up at me. I smiled before handing her to Riley.
I placed a kiss on Riley's lips and pushed her wheel chair over to the soft chair. Riley stood up with Nova before sitting down. The lady began teaching her how to hold Nova when she was breast feeding. I smiled at my girls. This is one of the happiest moments of my life. The first one being when Riley and I said our I do's.
After about ten minutes of trying to figure out how to breast feed, Riley finally got it and the woman walked away. I smirked at Riley. "I'm hungry to." Riley gave me a playful glare. "Well, I'm sure they have sandwiches in the hospital cafeteria." I threw my head back and laughed. "God I love you." She looked up at me. "I love you weirdo." She looked back down at Nova and smiled. "And I love you." She whispered to Nova. I smiled and walked over to Riley, sitting across from her.
"We have a family now Riley. If only Noah were here to meet his little sister." Riley gave me a sad smile. "He's with us in our hearts." I smiled and nodded. "He's always with us." Riley smiled. "When did we grow up?" I chuckled.
"We haven't grown up princess. Not yet."
