Graduation

Selena's POV

It's the day of the big graduation ceremony, I got chosen as valedictorian and Harry got chosen as class president.

Harry and I just left for school, Gemma (Haz's sister), Anne (Haz's mum) and Robin (Haz's step-dad) are meeting us there. 

We reached school and Harry just parked the car.

Harry: Are you okay love?

Sel: Yeah, I always imagined my mum and dad in the audience, but instead, here I am graduating, no parents, my dads in jail for abuse and my mum died because of me. I don't deserve this Harry, I ruined my parent's lives, and here I am celebrating so happily about something that I don't even deserve. Harry you have to help me please, I don't know what to do!

I start crying, why does this happen to me?

Harry: Sel, your father hit you and he doesn't even deserve to be here, you are such a strong, beautiful girl. Your mother, loves you so much, she is looking down at you, just because you can't see her, doesn't mean that she isn't here for you. Your family is right here, El, Demi, Niall, Louis, Gem and my mum and step-dad, and me, we are all here for you. We all love you baby girl. Don't you forget that. I gave you that necklace for a reason.

Sel: Your mum, step dad and Gemma haven't even met me yet, for all you know they could hate me.

He cups my face and kisses me, I smile into the kiss.

 Harry: From everything I said, they love you already, just like I do!

Sel: I love you too.

 We walk out of the car and go to our table,  Harry waves at someone in that direction.

I look over, Gem?!

Before I can even think I see her running up to me, giving me a bone crushing hug.

Gemma: Selly?! Oh my god I haven't seen you in ages! I've missed you so much!

She starts crying and I do too.

Sel: Gem, I've missed you so much! 

Harry and Anne looked so confused.

Haz: You guys know each other?

We both know.

Gem: Sel and I went to the same primary school.. we were really close. She just never got to come over cause of her dad. *She looks at me* I'm so glad he's gone!

Harry told them both so there weren't any slip ups today.

Anne: Well Selena, I'm glad my son is so happy with you, and I want to say how strong you are and how you are such a beautiful girl. If you ever need someone to talk to, you can always think of me as a mother to you, I know I may not be your actual mother, but think of us as your family.

I nod at her and smile.

Harry takes a picture of us 3 girls and then posts it on facebook.

Principal: If I can get everyone to take their seats so we can start.

We all sit down, I sit next to Gemma and Harry and then Anne on the other side with Robin, as the principal starts his speech.
