Present Day~

His boots echoed as he walked down the halls, each step becoming more intense as he got closer to the room. He flicked his eyes over to his partner who showed no emotion, or he was just really good at hiding it.

Seonghwa looked forward again, straightening up his posture, and taking a deep breath before reaching his hand down to turn the knob.

Before he could turn it, it was swung open and a young lady stood at the door with a hand on her hip. "Took you boys long enough."

"Sorry." Yeosang said. His face has softened a little now that she was standing there with them.

"Now," She started. "Namjoon wants us to go out on patrol for a couple days, see if we can find any trace of the Surge and see if they lead us to the city."

Seonghwa hummed and looked down at Yeosang who looked back up at him. "It's nothing we haven't done before."

The lady smiled and walked behind her desk, grabbing a large sniper gun, with a wicked smile plastered on her face.

San!

Yuri?

San you have to wake up!!

Yuri what's wrong why are you screaming?!

San get up!

San!

San!

"SAN!!"

San was jolted awake with Yunho hovering over him.

"San! C'mon we have to go!"

San sat up quickly and looked around. He heard the screams from the town and the chaos that followed it.

"Yunho, what happened?!"

"They're here and we have to go!"

San got up and quickly threw his clothes and shoes on. He then grabbed a backpack and shoved some extra belongings, slinging the bag over his shoulder. Yunho copied his movements, then he ran to the living and pushed the couch away and lifted the carpet. He grabbed the string that was poking out of the ground and pulled on it, opening up where they hid their weapons.

San ran to the kitchen and grabbed the knives he kept under the silverware tray and put them in his holster next to his gun.

He looked over and saw Yunho packing some guns and taking some for himself to use.

They headed out the back door and ran to the truck that they stole a few months back. It wasn't the greatest truck, but it was better than nothing.

San hopped in the passenger seat while Yunho went to the driver side. San cocked his gun and rolled his window down, ready to shoot when needed.

Yunho rev the engine and it roared loudly. He wasted no time pressing on the gas and sped down the road.

The citizens were fighting the Surge soldiers, causing the road to become a dark red. San shifted so he was sitting on the window frame, one hand holding onto the handle while the other held the gun as he shot some of the soldiers.
