It's been four week since the attack from the Surge. And four weeks of San not waking up.

They had found a place to settle on the other side of the mountains, but it would only be for a couple more days before they head out again. The we're dealing with Vultures, and boy was Seonghwa pissed off to the max.

Hongjoong was sitting in the aircraft, where they kept wounded people, running a hand through San's hair like he did every time he was with him.

The white in his hair was starting to wash out, his black roots showing at the top, he was bigger too, with how many things they had hauled into the plane. His muscles were more prominent with his skin tight shirt, and his face has shrunk a little in the cheeks.

Hongjoong let his eyes rake over San, the younger was becoming smaller too, but it was from the lack of food and water they were able to give him.

Heavy footsteps caught his attention, and Mingi was walking towards him with Seonghwa and Wooyoung behind him, all sitting around San.

"How is he?" Wooyoung asked, sitting down by his head and checking to see if he had a fever or anything that was out of place.

"He's stable, Namjoon said that he should wake up here soon." Hongjoong explained, though with the way San was, he didn't believe it was true. "How are you guys?"

"Could be worse." Seonghwa said, his under eye bags were evident and his voice was raspy and harsh.

"Worse?" Mingi tsked and shook his head, crossing his arms over his knees. "Yunho and Yeosang were taken, Jongho is under some stupid serum spell shit, and San is unconscious with a low chance of surviving."

"Min, I don't think that's how he meant it." Wooyoung said, his calming nature washing over everyone. It was odd at first, Wooyoung seemed to be the one to be calm and collected while the other three wanted nothing but to tear apart everything in their way.

"Sorry.." Mingi sighed out.

"It's okay, we are going through something that we didn't think we would." Wooyoung spoke again, giving them a warm smile that was on the colder side.

"The other three are strong." Hongjoong said, giving each of them a look. "They can hold their own until we figure out how to take them down."

"Don't we have the blueprints and everything?" Seonghwa asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, but Namjoon wants us to settle down before going over it."

"What? That could take months?!" Mingi roared, he was the one who was taking the indecent in the worse way, his mood had changed and he would have random out spurts, he wasn't as talkative and he barely slept and ate.

"Min-." Hongjoong tried, only to be cut off by him. "No! They need us, and I don't want to sit here and not do anything while Yunho could be fighting for his life in there!"

"Mingi!" Wooyoung snapped at him, that caused everyone to shut up and listen. Wooyoung rarely got mad at any of them. "If we go in there blind, we could end up ruining everything, I know it's hard that Yunho is gone, but so is Yeosang and Jongho. Not to mention, an entire city of innocent people who have no idea on what life they're living!"

Mingi opened his month just to close is and looked down at his hands. The air became tense, no one knowing what to say.

Hongjoong returned his eyes back at San, the boy sleeping soundly, he chest breathing up and down at a slower pace than usual, his face was pale and his cheekbones were very prominent. "It's going to be hard." Hongjoong started, not looking away from his lover. "But if we try to have a plan this time, we can take down the Surge, and save our family."

Seonghwa felt a smile tug at his lips, biting it and shaking his head. "Look at you. Taking role as leader."

That made the four laugh, all feeling a sense of peace over them.

"I will lead, if it means bring our family back." Hongjoong said, a serious tone in his voice.

"No matter what it takes?" Mingi asked, then flicking his eyes down to San. "Even killing her?"

Hongjoong bit the inside of his cheek and looked at his lover, knowing that he has some hope that he still has some sort of hope that his sister isn't all evil.

But Hongjoong nodded his head anyways, a cold look entering his expression.

"Even if I have to kill her."

"Because that's what leaders do."
