It wasn't long before the group was told they were close to base.

San had stood up once the back of the aircraft started to slowly open, the light outside started cascading off the walls. San sucked a breath at the view in front of him.

The sun was setting, hitting the mountain peak just right, cascading orange and pink hues into the sky. Flocks of birds floated with the wind, chirping as they passed by them. Splashes came from below them, the river bank following the path in between the mountains, all kinds of fish were jumping out of the water just to dive right back in.

At that moment, San forgot about the suffering that he went through, and what any of his friends went through.

It looked so peaceful, so lively.

A hand slipped into his, he didn't even have to look down to know who it was. "I forgot there was life like this.." Hongjoong muttered.

San squeezed his hand in response. "It's beautiful."

"Do you think life could be like this again?" Hongjoong looked up at him, there was hope in his eyes.

"I believe it's possible."

San turned his head as he felt a presence on his other side, a hand placed on his shoulder and gently grabbed it. "I believe too, if it means no more suffering, no more pain." Jongho said.

Wooyoung peaked his head around Jongho,
nodding his head in agreement.

Seonghwa took his place in front of them. "I hate to block the view, but you might want to watch this."

The aircraft started to turn, heading straight into the center of a mountain, a loud buzz roared through the air as two metal doors started to open up.

"You guys actually live inside the mountain?" Yunho asked, his mouth ajar with awe.

"Yup." Seonghwa said, a wide grin plastered on his face.

When the aircraft landed, the group headed off, watching as small go karts drove by with men and women piled on to them, some even had red glow sticks to direct traffic.

Seonghwa and Yeosang led the way, taking a turn down a hallway that wasn't too small but wasn't big either, five people standing side by side could fit. "Namjoon had already gotten your rooms prepared after he asked me who to pair with who. Your rooms are on floor six, one bed and one bathroom in each, there should be extra clothes for you guys to change out of as well." Yeosang explained.

"We'll show you how to get there, but Yeosang and I still have some work to do before we settle down, but you guys can go get cleaned up before dinner." Seonghwa added, pressing the button to go down once they came across an elevator.

"We're going down?" Wooyoung asked as the stepped into the silver box.

"Mhm. We built everything down since we get more coverage from the mountain."

The elevator fell silent after that, but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence, everyone was too tired to talk.

It wasn't long before they came to floor six, and Seonghwa held the elevator doors open so he could talk one last time. "Your names are written on your door, it should be unlocked and the key is inside sitting on the desk."
