Hongjoong let out a yawn and stretched his arms above his head. Well that was a good thirty minute nap, He thought.

He got out of bed and headed towards the living room. Mingi wasn't awake yet so he decided that he was going to cook for them. He was nervous to cook since Mingi usually does it, but he wanted to be nice to him and not make the taller do it.

But he had no idea what he was doing.

He opened the fridge and pulled out the eggs and bacon and set them on the counter.

And he just stared at them.

Do the eggs just go on the pan...no probably not. I know I crack them....but where and on what?

Hongjoong tapped the counter repeatedly. He stood there for a good ten minutes before he decided that he was just going to go out and buy them something.

He quickly changed and put his gun holster towards his back, putting a jacket on to cover it. He ran his hands through his hair and ruffled it out, then he grabbed a pen and paper and wrote Mingi a short note on where he was going if he woke up while he was still out.

He maneuvered his way down the hill, skipping over big tree limbs that fell, turning the corner through a small alleyway as a shortcut. Mina's shop was just a few minutes away from his home. He smiled softly at the big sign that was still intact, reading 'Mini's Mile Club'.

Once he got close to the door, he put his hand under his jacket just in case he had to pull it out for any reason.

"Hongjoong! I didn't expect you to be here for a few more weeks to pick up your order?"

"Hi Mina. I'm here to pick up breakfast for Mingi and I. I'm not a great cook and I didn't want to burn the house down." Hongjoong joked, smiling when the short brunette girl laughed.

"Well you're just in luck, I have a few donuts you can take and some bagels I could heat up." Mina smiled brightly at him as Hongjoong nodded and leaned over the counter.

He started to look around, the place was rustic and had what looked like dried blood running down the walls and even splattered all over, the wires from the ceiling hung low along with lightbulbs. Mina's place was in much better shape than half the stores in the town, which wasn't a good thing. He scanned over the isles, curiously looking when something caught his eye.

No, someone.

He was walking up and down the aisle, a look of frustration crossed his face when he realized he couldn't find what he needed.

The boy was thin at the waist, but had broad shoulders. His hair was a faded pink color, his roots showing slightly. His white shirt had some dirt stains and tucked into his black pants that bunched at the end due to the combat boots he was wearing.

"God damn it Yunho. You just had to ask for the one thing she doesn't have." the boy said.

Hongjoong didn't even notice he was staring until he met eyes with the male. He quickly looked back at the front, mentally cursing at himself for staring at some stranger.

"Here you go. I made sure to put some cream cheese in there since I know how much Mingi loves it." Mina said, placing a bag in front of him. "Thank you, Mina." He reached for his wallet before he felt a slap on his arm, making him yelp in surprise. "What was that for?"
