"I think it's best we start with the Surge."

"The Surge took over for power and to be what they call themselves "Kings", or at least have control of the world, and that's basically what they're trying to be." Seonghwa was leaning forward with his arms on his legs, hands clasped together.

"There are two leaders. Siblings, boy and girl. There is the oldest Irene, the second oldest Mark. What was their intention for doing this? We don't know. What we do know is that their city is located right here, the center. They built a wall protecting it, and once you're in it, let's just say you may not want to leave with how normal it looks."

"If there is a wall, how did you rescue the hostages?" San asked, raising an eyebrow and leaned forward a little.

"We broke in while they were still building it. But that was years ago and we haven't hit them since. It took a lot of our people more than we would've liked but we still managed to get out alive."

"How old are you?" Wooyoung spoke.

"Old enough." Seonghwa said with a smirk. "Moving on. We figured out that the Surge only goes so far. They split their soldiers into two groups. One goes East and the other West. Once they get to the mountains that's when they stop and head back. But they also go to certain towns more than others, like they're looking for something."

"Or someone." Yuri pipped in.

The six now fixed her eyes on her. "Why would they be looking for someone?" Yunho asked.

"We don't know. Our best bet is that they're trying to find someone to use as a weapon." Yeosang said. "When Yuri and Seonghwa were at the Surge, they said that they used the kids as some sort of test subject."

San leaned back into his chair. Did they use Yuri as one? If they did, San wishes he found her sooner.

But that was impossible since he thought she was dead.

"Now, Hala Hala has been building for years. The leader now is Namjoon, he took over after his father died in the first attack at the Surge."

"So then what's with the Wonderland safe haven thing?" Jongho crossed his arms over his chest and huffed.

"Wonderland is what they plan to rebuild after the Surge is gone." Seonghwa said. "Like I said, it's a place to start over, a new beginning at the life that was taken from us."

No one was going to say it, but that's all they ever wanted.

A life at peace.

"I think it's best if you guys leave with us. It's safer at Hala Hala than you are here." Yuri said but mostly to San, hoping to get through him.

It was silent, they weren't sure what to say. "Thank you for telling us." Wooyoung said with a small smile.

"We leave tomorrow and if you want to go, we'll be outside tomorrow morning to pick you guys up." With that the three left, Yuri being the last and giving San one last longing look.

Tension in the house grew after the three Hala Hala wanders showed up. Jongho, and Mingi didn't trust what they said and argued with the rest of the group.
