"The file on you during the testing had a note in the corner." San explained, it was now dinner time and the group gathered around a table that was situated in the back of the cafè that was built inside the mountain.

Seonghwa was sitting across San, Yeosang on his right and Mingi on his left. Jongho was sitting next to Mingi and Wooyoung sat across from him, sitting next to Yunho who sat next to San with Hongjoong on his other side.

Seonghwa was leaning on the table, his face unreadable as San spoke.

"Chan had found files on all the test subjects, or as I told Mingi and Jongho, the very first to be recorded. I found yours." San swallowed the lump in his throat.

"What'd it say?" Seonghwa asked, he seemed surprisingly calm in this situation.

"It said "Possible cure" at the bottom of it. I read over the other information on your file too, and then I went over one's who passed. Seonghwa," San paused for a moment, trying to find the right words. "You passed your test, with your IQ score, you were with the others that passed it. I don't think they told you, you failed because you did something wrong, but because you did something that they didn't like."

Seonghwa sat back in his chair and looked at Yeosang. "It makes sense."

The others looked at each other then back at the pair. "What makes sense?" Wooyoung asked.

"When I told San about my life growing up, I told him my parents were a part of the group that started the Surge, but that doesn't matter." Seonghwa leaned forward again. "After I took my test, they tried to get rid of me, but my parents wouldn't let that happen, but when I stayed, they watched me, they always had someone with me wherever I went."

"What the hell did you do?" Yunho asked.

"Nothing," Seonghwa started. "Well nothing I remember, I don't remember what I did in my test."

"That doesn't matter." Hongjoong said. "But whatever is in Seonghwa's blood, it could potentially save others from the serum."

The table went silent after he spoke, but he was right, Seonghwa could be the key to solving everything.

"Jongho, what's your blood type?" Seonghwa turned to him, the younger didn't look the greatest, but that was a side effect from the serum.

"O type." Jongho answered. "But whoever's blood type shouldn't matter if we can find a way to make a cure out of it, right?"

"Wouldn't that mean taking all of Seonghwa's blood?" Yeosang mentioned, a little irritation in his voice.

"No," Wooyoung spoke up. "They're able to take out just enough blood to make multiple samples, so they wouldn't drain him- or won't- well they shouldn't at least."

"Jongho, do you remember anything from being under control?"

The younger shook his head and Wooyoung grabbed his hands across the table, giving a light squeeze. "No, everything is a blur."

But the tone in his voice also said he didn't want to talk about it, and none of them pushed him too.

"Then that means everyone in that city has no idea on what they're doing." Mingi pointed out.
