I have nothing to lose, my parents don't care about me, my only friends left me last month and I don't feel like home in this village. Altough burning the entire place is extreme, I just feel relieved.

"You'd better get out of the village now." he tells me.
"But won't people realize my blood wasn't purified?" I ask him.
"Just be careful, get out into that huge forest and run." he smiles. "Besides, this entire place will be burned down soon so I'll take responsibility."

I'm good at sneaking and things like that so i'll pack my things quickly and leave this place. He doesn't seem to wanna back down on his plan of whatever. Sneaking out of the room and and quickly jump out a window then I run quickly as I can to my house and get into my room through the window.

Nobody is inside it, good. I take my backpack and quickly throw in things like clothes, my toothbrush and a few other things. I then fly out the window and out the village as fast as possible. The forest is my best bet, the trees should give me cover and not many people actually go there. I fly as fast as I can. Though I don't feel sad for some reason, I've lived in the village my entire life but it has never felt like a home.

I fly and fly until I reach a place to rest. Only have a bottle of water so I'll save as much as possible, I don't know where I'm going, just somewhere with whatever stuff I have. I take a rest for what seems like 10 minutes but I notice smoke in the sky. An hour has already passed?

My head hurts, the air smells like smoke. I should probaly get away from here. It wouldn't be good if the fire spread into the forest. I forgot my phone, well fuck me.

The fuck can 10 minutes be an hour? Since when? I grab my backpack and start to fly but I suddenly hear voices in the distance. Maybe it's just people panicking so I keep flying but the voices get louder and louder...eventually it's clear enough for me to hear someone yell my name. Shit, they probaly know my blood wasn't purified.

I fly faster, what do I do? Keep flying and take a bunch of turns? Stop and hide? Fight them? I don't have much time, the voices are just getting louder. I'll keep flying and try to shake them off. The backpack isn't too heavy so i'll be good. It's still in the middle of the day so I won't have to worry about the night for now. Man I hate thinking.

Eventually, someone screams "SHE'S OVER HERE!". Sweet fucking nature, they've caught up. I start to fly up above the trees, hopefully none of them can fly. Maybe I should pray to mother nature now. I keep flying but surprise, 5 of them can fly and they seemed trained. This isn't good, flying needs a lot of energy and there are probaly more people on the ground. I'll have to shake them off.

I keep flying but they are getting closer by the second. Shit, should I fly back down into the forest and find somewhere to hide? That's my only option so into the forest let's hope mother nature helps me. Life is great, totally.

I go in and dodge the tree branches, I take a U-turn and then a right turn. They are still chasing me so I keep taking turns but I can't shake them off. Why do they wanna catch me so badly? Did someone eavesdrop or think I'm suspicious? I have to stop thinking...

Either way, I don't wanna get caught. I need think of something fast but thinking fast isn't fun. I keep flying, buying myself some time before my stamina betrays me. It's already been 10 minutes, why didn't I exercise more!?

I suddenly feel an arm grab me and before I can react, I'm behind a huge boulder. "WHAT IN TH-", I get cut mid-sentence as a finger is put on my lips to shut me up.

"Sorry about that." I hear a familiar voice say.
"Wait, aren't you..." realization hits me.
"Long story short; the woman that escorted you eavesdropped on our conversation from earlier." he says. "Sorry for putting you in this position."
"It's fine, but what are you gonna do now Mr Demon?" I ask him.
"Deal with some things and kill the vampire." he answers calmly.
"Isn't he 5000 years old?" I look at him confused.
"Well, by killing him, I'll have taken revenge ans that's a story I'm not telling today." he replies.
"Well, could you tell me your name?" I ask him.
"Harry, you?" he answers.
"Liza." I respond.

I observe Harry a little, it's now that I realize he's actually pretty attractive. I'm not supposed to be thinking about that but really, he is attractive. Slim but clearly strong, mysterious too. Yep, somethings wrong with me today. Maybe because I almost could've died. Though he looks really cool!

"Can I join you on killing the vampire?" I ask him.
"Why?" he looks at me surprised.
"I have nothing to lose and besides, he was the one who was the village leader." I reply with a faint smile.
"If you want to, just make sure to put you life first." he looks at me, I don't get what he means with the last part of his sentence. "Abandon me if we're in danger."

He puts his hands behind his head and we start to walk in some random direction. I'm exhuasted from flying so much. Sleep sounds nice right now, but we're in a forest and were there's a forest, there are bugs and I hate bugs.
