Author: You're a shitass person man. Like goddamn, nothing better to do?
Weller: Can be considered a good person from 500 years ago, is your view right or theirs? Because last I recall, no one fucking cares and no one fucking chooses. There's no point.
Author: Well in my book you are.
Weller: Only you care about your standards and definitions, sure, maybe people will agree with you but people always will oppose aswell, so why care? It's meaningless, just fucking worthless. Go ahead, name all your reasons, they're all still worthless because anyone else can think those reasons makes me a good person but in reality, it doesn't matter, it doesn't fucking matter. No god or whatever chooses, a god's reason could be defied aswell because I just happen to not give two shits.
Everything changes constantly, nothing lasts forever, people are mortal but want immortality so they become immortal but it becomes tiring so they want mortality but after a while, they'll want immortality again, it changes. Just like morals, standards, everything changes, so why should I care? I don't care how you feel about it, there's no point in caring for me.
Author: Then I won't care about your reasoning, I'll just stick to whatever I want.
Weller: Okay, do it. You just want satisfaction from doing what makes you happy when it's just a waste of energy, doesn't make you in any way different from me now does it?
Author: Ahem, may I remind you of manipulating and killing?
Weller: Death makes it all meaningless in the end, why care? It'll come eventually so I don't give a fuck what you do in your life. Besides, you'll be forgotten eventually.
Author: Like how you single handedly stopped the biggest war and made everyone forget about you?
Weller: Because all the kids are talking about me since I'm a major historical figure. Of course I made them forget, it happened and it'll be meaningless once everyone is wiped out, not in the mood to have people talking about me, I simply want death since shit is meaningless enough as it is to me.
Will it matter if we break the laws when we constantly want change? We are never satisfied, we never will be, we might control the entire universe but will it matter when we eventually get tired of it? We may become immortal but after a while, we'll become tired of it so we want death, the very thing that'll make it all meaningless in the end.
Author: Woah woah, chill out. I know you're extremely self aware and lived for a long time but you know we'll probably be doomed before that can happen. You've seen how brutal humanity is to itself so how do you expect for us to ever even break laws of the universe?
Weller: I only said 'may' or 'if', not that I expect in it ever happening. Besides, you're just proving my point in one way, no?
Author: Oh shit...well still, I stand by my opinion about you and I don't care if it's meaningless. Besides, you're forgetting that Rose still loves you even after death because of all your old memories, even if you do all this twisted shit, you never forgot her after her death and she doesn't wanna move on even if those feelings will become meaningless if she moves on.
She wants you and you're happy about it because you love her though this little philosophy of yours is what's wrecking your relationship so much and you know it. I'm in charge of you and that's why I know the right words. Your philosophy is still flawed, because things are just the way they are if there's no one that decides then things are just the way they are.
Weller: And is it all set in stone? If things are just the way they are then certain things don't exist such as fate, because things are the way they are now so where does fate come from? Hell, there's nothing that proves that fate exists but there's nothing to prove that it doesn't exist so how are things the way they are? Is it chance or fate, Author?
It is true that I'm happy about Rose still wanting me but what if I move on in the afterlife? I could very well just do it and then it'll be meaningless again whether or not she moves on, because she wants me with her in the afterlife though if I move on, she'll still be alone and her only escape by that point is to move on herself.
Author: Well, everything you said is meaningless because you wouldn't do that. Just by me saying this, it's a huge chance you won't since you don't do shit out of pettiness considering it's done for the sake of satisfaction. You shit talk it so it would be hypocritical of you.
Weller: I'm already hypocritical, I shit talk love and emotions but I'm married to Rose and love her so there's no guarantee. So I can do plenty of other hypocritical things and contradictions are everywhere. Though for some reason, people can't accept themself being hypocritical or contradicting. The moment you point it out, they doubt themself, deny it, question everything about themself, hide it, change sides, argue, that's the weak spot.
Author: And that's how you manipulate, you force them into hopelessness and doubt so you can then feed them shit to be put in an illusion and because you've done it for such a long time, even able to manipulate open minded people. Scary, yet fascinating but you can't exactly manipulate me despite all this because you're gonna die soon after all and it'd be meaningless or whatever aswell as the fact I could just leave any moment.
Alright, you're cold, mischievous, brutally honest, careless and carefree, manipulative yet Rose makes you the complete opposite of that man and I can't help but wonder, what about the feelings you get makes you so happy.
