Harry's POV (damn, it's been a while.)

"So you also got to meet your dead loved one?" I question.
"Yeah, I'm gonna question the person who did it later but now we're dealing with this." he points at mom and Liza treating Rose like a celebrity.
"Definitely something." I shrug.

Well, mom just wanted to make something out of our time and chose that we should bake her special strawberry cinnamon rolls so now we're here. Liza is in complete awe of Rose, mom too. Now I'm just standing here besides Weller, surprisingly not feeling the urge to kill him.

It just feels like a light hearted moment, definitely me and Liza cried when we saw my mom but then after nights sleep, she was still here so now we're making something out of our time. Mom's idea to bake something, I'm not protesting.

"Let's all bake together, my special strawberry cinnamon rolls!" mom suggests.
"Evelyn, you sure?" Rose asks.
"Mhm, the more the merrier!" mom answers.
"I'm in." Liza states.
"Oh...alright fuckers, we're all baking together." Rose points at me and Weller. "Majority wins."

Now she grabs both mine and Weller's hands, dragging us to the checkout since we already have every ingredient needed. while Liza and mom are talking. She turns her to me and gives me a look of 'I need to talk with you.'

It doesn't seem positive or negative, there's more of a look filled with guilt. She glances over at Weller then me, I can only guess what it is she wants to say. Remembering they're married too, it's clear she has a big heart.

"Say, I've watched you while dead, gotta say that you're a lot like Weller in a relationship." Rose smirks. "But gotta say though, Asher is more husband material than either of you."
"Agreed." Liza says.
"Says the ones who can't cook to save their lives." Weller smirks. "I couldn't even drag you to the kitchen to help out, Rose."
"Fuck you and your mind reading." Liza mutters.

Well, Liza cooking is something else. I'm usually the one making us food which I don't mind but when she cooks, she accidentally puts salt instead of sugar. Mom is better than me at cooking though, even if she taught me along with Asher, she still beats me by a long shot.

Making own recipes, knowing the exact perfect ingredients to enhance the flavors, having lots of variety, it's just absolutely amazing. While we put everything in self checkout, Rose drags me to side making sure atleast Liza and mom can't hear or see us. Weller is just impossible to avoid.

"Alright, erm...I'm so sorry for everything my husband did to you. I saw everything you went through as a kid and I apologize so, so fucking much for his actions. They were terrible, it shouldn't have had to happen to anyone but it did to you and Evelyn died because of him, you saw her death all thanks to him and I'm his wife after all..." she tears up just slightly but her voice remains calm.

She's apologizing for him and for the hell I went through. She has lots of my respect. I nod as a thank you and smile, she sighs out of relief and we head back to the others. Everything is already in two bags, Weller is carrying both of them and gives me one to carry...even if he's stronger than I am.

*1 hour later...*

"That's the third time, Strawberry." I state when she's about to put in cacao instead of cinnamon.
"But they're both brown..." Liza sighs.
"Always check what the ingredient is first." Evelyn pats her.
"Love, 2 tablespoons, not teaspoons." Weller flicks Rose's forehead.

Mom helps Liza with the cinnamon, I continue cutting up the Strawberries and picking out the leaves. Weller and Rose make the dough, so we all just split up work. I won't question how Weller managed to get us to borrow a kitchen.

"You're way too mean." Rose flicks Weller's forehead back.
"And you're stuck with it." he chuckles.
"Then do all the work for me." she sticks out her tongue.
"Too bad that I'm mean so no." he smiles.

Their relationship is cute, I'll admit that. Now I feel myself wondering if I should kill him to avenge or kill him to reunite him with his wife? This is some stupid question because I'n still killing no matter what, yet it's a dilemma I'm stuck with now.

Finishing up all the strawberries, I put it all in a ziplock bag and start mushing it. Just the same question repeating in my head, mom isn't bothered by him and Asher is alive. Then there is no point in it whatsoever. Yet it doesn't help everything I went through even if Rose apologized for him.

Suddenly feeling a hand on my head, I look down and see my mom. She's smiling but also looks a little worried. She pecks my cheek and plays with my hair.

"What's wrong? she asks.
"Just thinking a little." I answer.
"You know I'm your mother so I got worried when you seemed so wrapped up in your thoughts." she states.
"Thanks mom, I appreciate it." I smile.
"How about I take care of the strawberries and you can be with Liza?" she suggests. "I know how much she brightens your day all the time and watching two adorable couples is really fun, haha!"

Mom and I switch places so now I help Liza with the cinnamon and with that, we all focus on just baking.

*30 minutes later*

Mom continues showing me a bunch of baby pictures of myself, Liza and Rose are talking shit about people, specifically guys for some reason and Weller is just napping on a chair, well more like eyes are just closed.

The cinnamon rolls are baking in the oven, everything is cleaned up and we just have to wait another 20 minutes. My baby photos are cute, not really embarrassing either. Mom keeps talking about how I still look cute, even if it's already been 20 years since then.

Right, I'm 20 years old but I still think I'm my teenage self from 7 years ago. Even if I burned mailboxes back then and don't now, really don't see myself as an adult with responsibility. Just someone who wants his girlfriend and teacher to be happy. Mom still treats me like a teenager too.

"Eek, you're so cuteee but you're also hot now!" mom squeals.
"Mom..." I sigh.
"You're a fire boy and Liza was rambling on and on about your looks earlier!" she states.
"Think it'll be different after their conversation." Weller glances at Liza and Rose. "My wife sure has hell shouldn't be taken lightly."

Mom giggles, well...it's clear Liza looks up to Rose seeming eager to listen whatever she says. I don't know much about Rose but she has my respect already, apologizing over something that isn't her fault, she's also very open minded and straightforward.

"Thinking she's straightforward is very, very wrong." Weller says. "There's more going on in her head than what you can imagine but I won't go into detail."
"Hmm, you seem to really love her..." I state.
"She's my wife, she just has me inlove and I don't mind." he smiles. "Right, I'll also apologize for everything now."

He doesn't look like he's joking.
