POV-Alex

I had no idea where I was going. I left Bobby's house and just walked with no destination. I wanted to go somewhere, but where? No one can see me. I can't talk to anyone.

I found myself ooutside Willie's door. And not his front door, his bedroom door. I feel like a stalker. This is something Reggie would do, not me. And yet, I walked through the door anyway.

Willie was laying in his bed with Sunset Cruve's demo playing quietly. I sat down on the side of his bed and just stared at his face. My hands were trembling as I reached out to touch his arm. As soon as I touched him, he ripped his arm and sat up. He scanned the room and rubbed his arm where I had touched him.

"Willie," I spoke quietly, knowing it was pointless and that he couldn't hear me. "I just want you to know that even though we're worlds apart, it was an accident and I'd never do anything to hurt you. It was Bobby. We didn't know. I love you."

POV-Willie

Alex suddenly appeared on the edge of my bed, right next to me. I jumped up and stood near the window on the opposite side of the room. He jumped when I did and stood a few feet away from my bed.

"Alex?" I asked in a low voice. "What are you doing here?"

"You can see me?" he sounded shocked.

"Of course I can see you!" I whisper yelled. "Why are you here? Wait, I'm not mad at you. Don't get me wrong, I love when you're here. But how did you just. . . Show up in my room like that?"

"You can see me?" Alex asked again.

"Yeah, I can see and hear you," I gave him a confused look. "Why wouldn't I be able to?"

Just then there was a loud knock on my front door.

POV-Carlos Reyes

Athena and I were on our way to the boys' home. The phone book gave us their address, so we were going to go look for anything on their background. Family, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins. Because I asked who had to tell the familes, I got my answer. Athena and I. I hope I'll be able to do it.

We arrived at their appartment. Athena knocked to see if they lived with anyone else, but she got no answer.

"Hi," a woman from right next door spoke to Athena and I. "Can I help you?"

"My name is Sergeant Athena Grant," Athena introduced herself to the woman. "This is my partner, Officer Carlos Reyes. Do you know the three boys who live here?"

The woman paused. "I'm Leah Harvey. The boys that live there are like my sons. Did they do something wrong?"

Athena took a sharp breath in.

"They didn't do anything wrong, Mrs. Harvey," I assured her.

"Oh, God," she gasped. "But if they didn't do anything wrong then why are you here?"

I saw the tears begin to form in her eyes. We have to do this at least three more times. I can barely look at her. I have to keep telling myself it's just a dream to keep myself from breaking down right here. It's emotionally damaging. Seeing her break like this, even before we deliver the harsh news.

"Do you have a place to sit down?" Athena asked the breaking woman.

"I have a key to their apartment since I saw you were trying to get in there," she offered with a weak smile.

"That would be great," Athena smiled gently.

Mrs. Harvey walked back into her apartment. After only a few seconds, she returned with a key and unlocked the boys' door. She led us into the living room. Suprisingly, the whole house was really clean for three teenage boys.
