POV-Alex
I teleported to Mrs. Harvey's since today was the day Luke, The Beatles, and I planned on doing to rooftop preformance. They were getting set up on the tallest building in L.A, which also happened to be Reggie's favorite building. April and Mrs. Harvey both were already there and they brought Reggie's guitar for him. All that was left was Reggie. But Mrs. Harvey said that he hasn't moved in two weeks. Hasn't even spoken in two weeks. Everyone was getting worried about him.
I entered her room and found Reggie laying on his side.
"Hey, Reg," I spoke softly when I walked in. He didn't reply, so I continued talking. "You want to go for a walk?"
Still no reply. I sat on the edge of the bed and noticed that his eyes were open. "C'mon, Reggie. I got something for you. I think you'll like it."
"I don't want it," Reggie mumbled.
I grabbed his arm and sat him up, but he made no effort to stay up. He let himself fall back to the bed. We did this about five times before he started laughing.
I laughed a little with before asking if I could bring him to his surprise again. This time he agreed and we started walking since I didn't know how long it'd them to set up.
When we got there, I looked up and saw Luke sitting on the edge of the building. Idiot. Once he saw us, though, he disappeared.
"Why are we here?" Reggie asked.
"Let's go find out," I smiled, excited to see Reggie's reaction to everything Luke has done for him in the past month.
We started climbing stairs to the top. Reggie complained the wholeway there and at times I wanted to push him all the was back down.
"Are you bringing to my sudden death?" Reggie made his 100th guess.
"Reginald, you've been dead for a little month," I reminded him.
He sighed as we made it to the roof door.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Reggie suddenly got super excited. "You're bringing me to finally let me set off fireworks in the day to see what they look like!"
"Reggie," I looked at him with slight confusion. "You can't see fireworks in the day."
"Hey," he crossed his arms, "you can't tell me that until you prove it."
I rolled my eyes and stepped through the door with Reggie. Mrs. Harvey, April, T.K, Carlos, and T.K's and Carlos's friends and family were there. I should probably mention here that everyone from the beginning of the story who tried to save our lives is here, and then some. T.K's dad, Owen Strand, is here, same with the rest of T.K's firehouse, Marjan Marwani, Paul Strictland, Mateo Chavez, Tommy Vega, Nancy Gillian, and Judd and Grace Ryder. Grace, brought her friends, Maddie Kendal and May Grant. Maddie brought her boyfriend, Howie Han (Chimney), and Howie brought his firehouse, Evan Buckley (Buck), Henriette Wilson (Hen), Eddie Diaz and his son Chistopher Diaz, and his captain, Bobby Nash, who brought Athena Grant and her son Harry Grant. And May Grant invited them because they're all a family. Big group, I know. But in the one month Luke has been with T.K and Carlos, all these people got to know him, and then I began to meet tham and slowly but surely we all became one really big and confusing family. And Hen is a lesbian, T.K and Carlos are obviously gay, and Buck and Eddie have the most questionable friendship I've ever seen. When gay becomes legal, if they don't start dating, I'mma be upset.
Anyways, I'm telling this to you as a big reminder that no one here cares about who you date. Be yourself and be proud. All these people here know the band preforming is mostly dead. They also know that everyone except The Beatles are gay. (No one except Luke, Willie, and I know John Lennon and George Harrison are here.) And they all know this whole thing is to get Reggie and Luke back together. Everyone has heard their story and everyone forgave Luke, including me. And everyone agrees that these two are a fucking power couple that need to get back together.
