You and Clint would play heroes all the time as children, but you never thought it would be real until you and your brother were recruited into a team of extraordinary figures who would dedicate their lives to stand up to injustice and defeat bad guys together.

When your boss, Director Fury, first brought up the discussion, your brother was against it as he wanted to remain in the shadows and make sure that whatever missions you would do had to be in secret.

Your parents were also SHIELD agents and had been apprentices to Peggy Carter in her later days, so the two of you were well respected and expected to carry on their legacy. You were the only piece of his original family that he had left. After your parents were killed in action when you were only 7, Clint was very protective of you and anything that would put you in danger would be his first target. But after he'd witnessed your great skills and mission successes, he realised you didnt need him to protect you as much as he thought you did.

After the New York incident you founded a new family with your co-workers, and now close friends, the Avengers. You all got along quite faster that expected and got to know eachother outside of work aswell.

You all had something in common but had different personalities at the same time which made it more comforting and easier to talk.

You and Nat had been best friends even before the team as she and Clint would go on missions together alot and you eventually joined the duo.

Tony had been quite difficult to talk to at first although but after you had helped him a great deal during the battle of new york he seemed to appreciate you more. The two of you were known to bicker all the time but neither of you put down a fight as you'd be fueled with sarcasm which equally matched his which for some reason made everyone laugh, (honestly, you thought, they should pay for this show because your humour doesn't come free).

You and Steve were training buddies and whenever there was free time, you would take it up to show him things that he didnt have back in his days. If someone around you wasn't aware he was THE Captain America, then it would look really wierd for you to be showing him what a mobile phone is in public after he asked where all the payphone booths had gone. Honestly if he looked his age he would've been accepted into a nursing home already, but its fine you can live with it. It was funny and cute at times though when he'd get confused trying to understand how to use any of Tony's tech- or the TV even.

Thor wasn't always around but when he was the two of you would be having pop-tart eating contests and casually sliding in how much better your world was than his mid sentence to annoy him, even though Asgard was probably better. Bruce was your comfort companion so whenever you felt full of rage you would go to him and talk it out as he always seemed to understand what you were going through, and you would be there for him back if he ever felt over the edge.
