19- Here's The Deal

"So what's the problem, Stark Industries shutting down or something?"

"Wait how'd you-"

"WHAT!, please tell me you're kidding"

He tells you to shush and keep your voice down before anyone overhears, "well not exactly, it's complicated but that's not what I'm here to talk about" he whispers

"So what is it" Steve interjects.

"Remember that night at Arthur's and you had that theory he wasn't killed by a group of criminals" you both nod "well Cap, you were right, it wasn't a group it was just one man, or well at least as far as I'm aware"

"Expand"

Tony tells you how he spent his day trying to find evidence about Arthur's murder. He says he found this woman across the street who had CCTV footage, but refuses to give it unless she's invited to his party so she can show off to her friends.

"Wait I didn't know you were throwing a party, why was I not invited?" You question him.

"Well neither did I until today. I'm going to invite some of my business associates aswell so I can try fix this mess I've landed myself in, but you don't need to worry about that for now at least"

You look at him in exasperation. Tony reaches for the handle to return to the lounge before Steve interrupts.

"Well are you going to answer the lady, are we invited or not?"

"Chill Cappuccino, you're all welcome. It's not like you live here or anything that makes it mandatory for you to attend and represent as my friends from work or whatever" he feels his temples and squeezes his eyes "agh my head, Arthur's gone now who's gonna give me my usual"

"What usual?"

"The drink, you know that drink he always brings me that helps with my headaches"

"Tony you are a headache" you smirk

"No sweetheart I'm a heartbreak"

He proceeds to the lounge, the three of you catch sight of Hunter behind the bar counter throwing olives for, a very clearly drunk, Clint,on Buckys back, to catch in his mouth across the room.

"I'm not even gonna ask".
