Orchids ∼ A Kuroken Story

°ER Visit°

It started when I went out with Shoyo for the day. We went to the local mall and now we were sitting at the food court and chatting.

"So Kenma how are things going with you and Kuroo?" Shoyo asked taking a big bite out of his food.

"Good" I took a sip of my Fruitopia. (I fully believe that Kenma likes Fruitopia and you cannot change my mind.)

"I remember you came out on stream a couple months ago; I'm happy that went well for you!" He smiled, his mouth still full or food.

"Thanks" I felt bad for giving him so many one word answers but the truth is I was really distracted today. All I could think about was Kuro, he's been spending a lot of time outside lately and I'm worried for him, not that I'd ever admit it.

"Kenma are you alright?" Shoyo asked me worriedly.

"Yeah I'm fine"

"Liar!" He huffed.

"I'm not lying" I put my hand over my heart "honest".

"Kenma" He deadpanned.

"I'm just- worried that's all"

"Is it Kuro? Is he hurting you? Because if he is I'll beat his ass!" He made a punching motion with his hands and  I just softly giggled in response.

"No he's not hurting me it's just...I'm afraid for his mental health. I don't think he's doing too well...he's not eating as much and he's been coughing a lot at night..." I looked down and started moving the ice in my cup with the straw.

Shoyo was quiet for a moment before speaking up again, "Well I'm sure he's okay! And if not then make sure to give him lot's of hugs and kisses to make him feel good again!" He said proudly.

"I'll keep that in mind" I let out a soft smile.

I made sure to buy Kuro a box of chocolates before we left the mall.

"I'm home" I said loud enough for Kuro to here me when I got inside.

"Welcome home" He greeted me though it felt forced.

I gave him a quick peck on the lips before taking out the box of chocolates I got for him.

"This is for you"

He gasped dramatically "For me?" He batted his eyelashes.

"Yes for you dumbass" I walked over to the kitchen to put the bags down.

"I'll cook today okay?" He nodded before making his way to our bedroom.

I sighed before turning off the stove and setting out the dish onto the table. It wasn't the best meal but whatever.

"It's done" I called and he came and sat down next to me. I began to eat but he just stared at me, not in a creepy way though. He always stairs at me like I'm the pretties boy he's seen in his life, I doubt that though.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I looked at his untouched food and back at his face.

"Yeah I will..." I frowned.

"Why are you staring at me like that? Not that I'm mad but..." I asked.

"Sorry you're just so cute" I flushed and looked back down at my food.

"Not as cute as you..." I muttered, praying he didn't hear me. Spoiler alert, he did. Although he didn't respond. It was quiet for a a bit after that but then suddenly I heard non-stop gags and coughs which made my head bolt up.

I got up from my chair so fast it almost fell over and rushed to where Kuro was. He was coughing so much and so loud that it was concerning and his head was turned away from me. I looked down to find blood all over the floor. I stared at it and then back at Kuro again before rushing to get my phone.
