Weeks flew by quickly as Kuro's health slowly got worse and worse. Every time I'd visited him I handed him a bouquet of orchids. Sometimes it would be a big bunch and others it would only be a few tied in a small ribbon. Each time I handed them to him he smiled and thanked me setting them down on the small table beside his bed, until at one point there were too many and he kept them on a chair or on the floor at the foot of the table. They stacked on top of each other neatly and kept the room smelling fresh.
Even when some of the flowers began to rot he never took them away, the nurses never questioned them and allowed him to keep them there as long as he liked as long as they didn't get in the way.

Wednesday May 2nd 5:00 PM
"Pudding∼" Kuro reached his hand out to hold mine which I gladly accepted "Thank you for visiting me all the time"
"No problem" I softly kissed the top of his forehead, setting down the book I was reading.
"Are any of our fans wondering where I am?" He asked looking out the room window.
"Yeah, I didn't tell them anything because I know they'll make a big deal out of it" Kuro nodded and closed his eyes
"Maybe we'll tell them when you recover..." I went on.
"No" He turned his head to look at me "Tell them now, we shouldn't keep them waiting for too long"
"Alright..." I took out my phone "Right now?"
He nodded and posed the best he could in his position "Get a good angle"
I snorted and snapped a photo, showing it to him for approval before uploading it on Instagram.

I smiled and turned my phone off to find Kuro staring at me solemnly.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
He chuckled quietly "You're so pretty".
My face reddened a bit before I gave him a soft kiss on the forehead.
"I love you. Never forget it"
"I love you too pudding..."
"Ahhh It's so nice to see you again!" Shoyo smiled big before taking a sip of his drink. We were walking through the busy streets, dodging people.
"It's nice to see you too Sho" I smiled and looked around for a bench to sit at. Once I found one we both sat down, I set down my shopping bags, one which had a big bouquet of Orchids in it.
"Are those for Kuro?" Shoyo asked and I nodded "Gwaaaa that's so romantic"
"Not really considering he get's one every time he sees me"
"Huh? Every time?" He looked at me with a shocked face.
"They're his favorite" I explained "Plus I gave him these same ones the day I confessed so..."
"Eeek he must be so happy then!"
"What about you Shoyo? How are things going with Kageyama?" I asked taking a sip of my own drink.
"Eh? W-what do you mean?" His face was crimson red.
"Come on it's obvious that you like him" I nudged his shoulder playfully "Anyway I'm the one who started the Kagehina hashtag on insta, I've shipped it for too long"
His eyes widened "So it was you" he tackled me, almost making me spill my drink.
"Sho" I laughed "Stop you'll make me spill my drink"
"Humph" He crossed his arms turning away from me.
"Oh come on don't be mad, I bet Kageyama likes you back" I teased and he blushed more.
"Kenma!"
"Okay, okay I'll stop" I put my hands in the air, almost spilling my drink in the process.
"SO" Shoyo said abruptly in attempt to change the subject "Have you heard from Yachi recently? I heard she's got a girlfriend" He squealed loudly.
"That's good for her, I thought she'd be single forever" I chuckled and listened to Shoyo rant about Yachi's girlfriend Kiyoko, letting me know of each and every detail.
Suddenly my phone rang and I apologized to Shoyo briefly before answering.
"Hello?"
"Kenma..." A raspy voice was on the other side.
"Kuro? Are you alright?" I spoke, panic lingering in my stomach.
"I'm" He coughed loudly "Fine, I just wanted to hear your voice" He said weakly.
My heart melted as I grabbed my bags off the floor "I'll be right there, Shoyo I have to go but I'll see you later kay'?" He nodded and smiled.
"No, you don't need to cancel your plans it's fine..."
"But I want to" I said sternly before cutting the phone and pacing to the nearest bus stop.
