-13- The Idiot in Steak N Shake

Amber POV

Then the regular beeps returned and so does my heart beep.

I let out a sigh of relief and continue to stare at Hayes who gasps, "Could you get the nurse now?"

I nod and quickly run out to the hall finding the nurse who had let me in. "His heart just stopped." I exclaim trying not to cry and scream at the same time.

The nurse rushes into the room while I try to find my way back to the waiting room where I find Olivia sitting in an uncomfortable chair with her head on Will's shoulder.

"What happened?" Will asks immediately, obviously noticing my tear stained face.

"His heart stopped. But he's okay, he's okay." I reassure him when he starts to sit up. I sit down next to Olivia and sigh.

"He'll be okay." Olivia whispers to me getting up from Will's shoulder for a second to look at me.

"His heart stopped. I got so scared." I say, starting to cry yet again.

"Amber, he's alive. He's going to be fine."

"I don't want to lose him."

1 Week Later (spongebob voice)

I wheel Hayes out of the hospital into the fresh air. I'm so glad that he's okay and was released from the hell hole. He's still pretty weak though, hence the wheelchair.

I had to go home on Wednesday last week since Troy did put me in charge of that photoshoot. I ended up just getting Aidan, Leah's boyfriend, and his friend for the two guy models and then Lia, Olivia, and I were the girls. All good.

So now I've driven back down here to escort my babe out of the hospital. Well technically we're not together. Wait but when he was in the hospital Hayes said he was lying. Was he lying about that to? I'm very confused-does he love me or not?

"So where to?" Will asks Hayes as he and Olivia follow us out of the hospital.

"I could really use a good frisco melt." Hayes answers grinning and I can't help but agree. So we go to Steak N Shake like every other time we go out to eat.

I sit next to Hayes who's still in the wheelchair -and quite likes it because people have to push him around-while Olivia and Will sit across from us.

"Well the squad's all back together." Hayes comments making me smile knowing he's right next to me.

"Let's try not to get shot again." Will says and Hayes rolls his eyes.

My phone buzzes and I see it's a text from Reb.

Reb: It's a girl 😍😎

I smile reading the text and tilt my screen towards Hayes.

"Woah, Reb's pregnant?" He asks raising his eyebrows. Oh yeah, Hayes didn't even know.

"Yup, with Cam's kid."

"Cam? They're still together?" I nod and he whistles. "Well I'm happy for them."

Our food comes and everyone starts to eat.

"It's been like 4 years you've been together right?" I ask Olivia and Will randomly.

"Yup." Olivia answers eating a french fry.

"So when's that knot gonna be tied?" Hayes asks making me giggle even though I was wondering that to? I mean they're obviously in love.
