-29- Disgusted

Amber POV

I immediately find Hayes, he sits on the curb outside of the club looking at his hands and talking to himself. I park right in front of him and get out.

"Hayes cmon." I say pulling him to his feet.

"Hey back off I have a girlfriend." He says stepping backwards.

"Yeah that would be me," I inform him. "Unfortunately," I mutter under my breath. Just kidding.

"Oh it's you Amber!" He exclaims throwing himself at me. "Hi Amber!"

"Hayes get in the car please." I state opening the passenger door. I see people giving me strange looks, probably since I'm outside of a club wearing a tank top, sweat pants, and uggs, but I honestly don't care at this point.

"I don't wannaaaa." Hayes says resisting to me trying to get him in the car.

"Hayes please." I whine and he finally drops into his seat. I shut the door and walk back to the drivers seat. It is 3 in the morning.

I drive back to our apartment quickly and take the elevator up. I unlock the door and walk in with Hayes following.

"Did you know you're really hot?" Hayes asks grabbing me from behind and wrapping his arms around me. Usually when he does this I'd melt but I can smell the alcohol on his breath and I just feel disgusted.

"Hayes get off."

"You're so sexy and all mine." He says kissing my neck and grabbing my boob.

"Hayes stop." I say shoving him and at that moment Cam walks in with Kalin in his arms.

"Hey Cam," I say as Hayes steps in front of me.

"Hey you, she's my fucking girlfriend!" Hayes yells at Cam and Kalin starts to cry. Oh no. I can deal with drunk Hayes but the one thing I really didn't want to happen was for Kalin to see him like this. Even if he is only 6 months, this is the point in his life where he's really learning and taking everything in. And now he's seeing how Hayes is when he drinks, loud and violent and horny and dumb and I close my eyes trying to figure out what to do.

Hayes is still shouting at Cam and I put my hand on his chest. "Hayes please stop."

"You're mine, only mine." He says roughly pressing his body against mine and putting his lips on mine. His kisses are sloppy rather than passionate like he usually is. I push him off me quickly wanting to cry that Kalin's seeing all of this. Speaking of crying, Kalin still is.

"Hayes stop right now." I say firmly sitting him down on the couch. I take Kalin from Cam and sigh.

"Thank you so much Cam and I'm so sorry, he's never like this." I say to Cam apologizing for Hayes's actions while bouncing Kalin up and down.

"It's no problem Amber, I'm here whenever you need me." He says kissing my cheek.

"I'm gonna grab Jill and see you later?" He asks and I nod. He picks up a still sleeping Jill from Kalin's room and gives me a final goodbye before leaving.

Kalin has still continued to cry even after my efforts to calm him down. "I'm so sorry you had to see that baby." I say holding him as I sit down on the rocking chair.

"I'm so sorry."

Kalin eventually falls asleep in my arms and I out him back in his crib.

I kiss his forehead and head back to the living room where I find Hayes passed out on the couch.

"Lord help me," I whisper before turning out the lights and heading back to my own room where I can hopefully get a few hours of sleep.

When I wake up the next morning I immediately know I've slept for too long. I look at the clock on my bedside table and see it's 11:18. Shit, Kalin. He wakes up at about 8 every morning and if I'm not there he'll have a fit. What have I done?

I jump out of bed and rush to Kalin's room, where I find his crib empty. Uhm what...?

I walk to the kitchen where I find Hayes sitting at the table, a tiny spoon in his hand as he feeds Kalin.

"Good morning sleepy head." He greets me smiling. I'm so annoyed right now I can barely speak. After he promises me he won't, Hayes goes and gets sloppy drunk and comes home and makes a scene in front of Kalin. And now he's acting like nothing happened because he doesn't fucking remember.

"Morning," I say monotonous and walk over to Kalin's high chair and kiss him on the forehead. Hayes leans over for me to kiss him as well and I just look at him and walk to the fridge. I think that should signal that he messed up.

"Babe?" He asks in that cute confused voice.

I just take a glass out of the cabinet and pour myself some water while saying, "Thanks for feeding Kalin."

"Of course, you were really tired." He responds.

"Yeah, I was up pretty late last night." I inform him grabbing a few eggs from the fridge and heating a skillet.

"Really? Was I loud when I got home? I'm sorry baby." Hayes says as he continues to feed Kalin.

"Yes, yes you were. And I had to pick you up actually. After you promised you wouldn't get drunk." I crack the eggs and add some salt and pepper before whisking it all together.

"Amber I didn't get-"

"Yes you did Hayes." I say pouring the egg into the warm skillet and scrambling it with a fork. "And Cam had to watch Kalin while I went. To pick you up. Then you kept kissing and touching me and shouting at Cam right in front of Kalin. Kalin wouldn't stop crying and then you just started feeling me and kissing me trying to show "Cam" that I'm yours. God Hayes, you don't even remember this because you were drunk!"

Hayes stands up and sighs leaning against the counter. As I put all of the eggs on a plate he comes up to me and grabs my hands. "I'm so sorry baby." He whispers. He rubs his thumbs in circles on my hands and brings them up to his chest. He leans down to kiss me when I let go of his hands and back away.

"Yeah I'm sure you're very sorry Hayes." I say getting a fork and starting to eat.

"Amber," he sings. "Amberrr." He says leaning down and putting his chin on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, I really am. I'm so sorry that I broke my promise, and I'm sorry that you had to come pick me up, and I'm sorry that I was acting like an asshole towards you and Cam, and I'm sorry that I did all of this in front of Kalin. It was so stupid of me and you know I want the best for him just like you. I'm so so sorry."

"Ok." I reply putting my empty plate in the sink. I mean what else could I say? It's already been done, of course I'm still mad but I can't do anything about it now. I just have to calm down and trust Hayes that it won't happen again. But in the meantime I'm just gonna be pissed and a lil bitchy.

Hayes is about to say something then hesitates, definitely picking up that I am not ok.  "Here, I'll watch Kalin for the day and you have a you day." He proposes.

"Alone time. Exactly what I need." I say nodding and walking out of the room.
