I woke up the next morning still feeling sick. I rolled over and Matt's face met mine. I stared at his face and admired all of his features.

"Babe why are you staring." He groaned in his raspy morning voice.

"Because."

"Because isn't an answer."

"Your handsome and need to get to school. You have practices."

"Ugh.. Fine." He rolled out of my bed and went downstairs. I got up behind him and said goodbye.

He left and I closed the door.

None of my brothers were home since they probably went to school early. I went over to the fridge and found a note on the counter.

Brooke,
Had to go to school early, heard you vomiting last night hope your not pregnant. Noticed Matt stayed over.
Just be careful. Call me when you get the chance.
Grayson <3

What did he mean by be careful I already told him no matter what I loved Matt and was not going to break up with him because he wanted me to.

I decided to stay home and just relax. I turned on the TV and watched The night shift since that was my favourite show.

I began to feel queasy and ran to the bathroom. I vomited. Once I was finished I noticed that I was no longer vomiting bile it was blood. I looked at myself in the mirror I had beads of sweat running down my cheeks. I began to feel dizzy than everything went black.

Matt's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about Brooke. I wonder how she's feeling?

The bell rang.
I rushed out of my class and to the cafeteria where I got lunch. I quickly ate and penny boarded to Brooke's house. I walked up the steps and knocked.

*no answer*

I knocked again.

*no answer*

"Brooke you home?" I asked a little scared.

*no answer*

"Brooklyn Giovanni?" I asked again. never have I ever called her by her full name.

*no answer*

"Brooke I'm coming in." I pushed on the lever that opened the door hoping it was unlocked. Surprisingly it was.

I went it and looked around. I knew she cut and was hoping she didn't try to kill herself. I walked up the long staircase and into her room. She wasn't in her bed. I walked over to the bathroom and saw her laying there.

"Brooke!" I screamed. I checked for a pulse which was very weak. I grabbed my phone and called 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"I need and ambulance.
My girlfriend she is lying here unconscious she has been vomiting blood. She isn't pregnant. I don't know how long she has been lying here for."

"Okay what's your address?"

I told her Brooke's address and she said an ambulance would be here in a minute since the fire station was up the street.

I heard sirens from outside. I rushed downstairs and brought them I where Brooke was.

"What happened?" The EMT asked.

"I don't know I found her here she has been sick all day. I came to see if she was okay."

"It looks like she has been coughing up blood. Have you notified the parents."

"Her parents are dead."

"Oh. Does she have any family?"

"Yeah her brothers I will call them."

"What's her name?"

"Brooklyn Giovanni but everyone calls her Brooke."

I let the paramedics do there jobs as I called her brothers.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dawson its Matt."

"What's up."

"It's Brooke she's sick. I had to call the paramedics I found her unconscious in her bathroom could you meet us at Woodbridge Medical."

"Oh my god I'll be there waiting. Could she be pregnant?"

"She said she has never you know."

"Okay I'll meet you there."

"Bye" I hang up.

They put her on the stretcher and brought her in the ambulance. We drove to the hospital and they brought her to a separate room. I sat for hours waiting for the doctors to come out.

Finally they did.

"Ms. Giovanni is......"
