Chapter 23

My heart sank right down into my stomach. I was going to have to say goodbye to the person I love. We paired up. The Jacks, Nash and Cam, Carter and Aaron, Hayes, Taylor and Mahogany and then me and Shawn, then his parents. I wanted Shawn to come because I wanted to sing a song to Matt and I knew he was good at that.

Everybody went in and it was my turn. Shawn and I slowly walked into the room and sat on the chair beside his bed.

"Hey Matt, its me I just want you to know how much I love you and know matter what just know that you will always be the one I love. I will never love anyone as much as I love you,
Let me sing a little song for you."

Heart beats fast, colours and promises.

How to be brave? How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?

But watching you stand alone all of my doubts suddenly fade away somehow.

"I love you Matt please don't leave me."
I said as I planted a kiss on his forehead. I slowly walked out of his room. Tears started streaming down my face. I ran down the hall and out of the hospital. I sat down on the curb and put my head in my hands and cried. I felt someone touch my hair. I looked up it was Mahogany.

"Hey." I said sniffing and wiping my tears.

"Hey, he's loves you, he never stops talking about. You are his everything."

"I love him Mahogany I don't want him to die." I said crying in her shoulder.

"I know. It's okay. Let it out."

"Why don't we go back to the hotel room and watch movies and eat candy."

"I don't know, what if something happens."

"You need to get your mind off things. Let's go."

"Fine." I hesitated.

"And if anything happens we will come straight back, okay?"

"Okay."

We both sat up and walked back in the hospital to get the boys.

"C'mon lets go back to the hotel room, get some sleep we will come back in the morning." Mahogany said.

"What if he isn't here in the morning?"

"They usually keep the body for at least a day before the coroners come and get him." Taylor stated.

"Taylor!" They screamed.

"Mahogany, I'm sorry, I can't leave him." I said tears streaming down my face

"Hey, I understand. Keep us updated."

"Okay, bye."

I sat back down in the hospital chairs and waited.
