"are you almost done yet?"

i looked through my mirror, which i was sitting in front of to do my hair, and i looked at billie. she was laying on my bed, and she was laying on her back with her head hanging off the edge.

i shook my head. "no, not yet."

she pouted. she crossed her arms over her chest for a moment.

"i'm almost done," i told her.

"you said that ten minutes ago."

"it was five minutes ago, but okay."

i watched through the mirror as she sat up correctly. she sat crisscrossed, and she propped her head in her hand. she watched me intently with a cute little smile on her face.

i could feel my cheeks flush at the way she was watching me. we made eye contact through the mirror, and she winked before she smiled widely.

soon enough, i was finished with my hair. i put away everything, and i giggled at the way billie perked up when she noticed that i was done.

"you're done?" she raised a brow. "so, you're ready now?"

"i gotta get some shoes on, but other than that, yeah."

she sat up, while i walked to my closet. i picked out a pair of shoes to go with my outfit.

"c'mere," she smiled and held her hands out for me as i stepped out of the closet.

i walked over to her, and she placed her hands on my waist. her smile widened as she looked at me.

"you're so pretty," she murmured as her eyes scanned over my face, taking in every detail of it.

"says you," i sent her a look. "you're gorgeous."

i watched a blush crept its way all the way up to the tip of her ears. "take the compliment, zay!" she huffed in faux annoyance before leaning forward to press her lips to mine.

i wrapped my arms around her neck as i kissed her back. "you take the compliment, eilish," i insisted after we pulled back. i rested my forehead against her's.

"you take the compliment, eilish," she mimicked my accent, which made me lightly smack her shoulder. she laughed loudly after i did.

she pressed her lips to mine, again and again. "just accept the compliment, z; you're pretty as hell."

i caved with a soft smile. "thank you."

"of course," she grinned.

"now you take the compliment; you're gorgeous," i told her again.

she moved her head and buried it into my neck. "thank you, baby," she murmured before pressing an innocent kiss to my neck. i smiled as she did, and i bit my lip.

"you're welcome, bil."

she pulled back, planted a quick kiss on my lips, then grabbed my hand. "okay, you ready to go now?"

i nodded. "yeah, i'm ready."

she grinned before starting to pull me out of my room. "c'mon then."

it's now the weekend, and me and billie are going on that date that she asked me out on last weekend. she's been excited about it all week, and it's honestly adorable.

school this week was... definitely something.

everybody was still talking about everything that went down last friday. people have started rumors about it, most of them have said some hella mean shit about it, and so on and so on.
